Very Late 1966 Fender Stratocaster with BIG CBS headstock

- I've been looking to stock a nice early CBS era Stratocaster, so when the family of the original owner reached out about this late 1966 Strat, I jumped on it. Feast your eyes on this clean big headstock Strat that's 100% original inside and out. It's the best of both the pre-CBS and CBS era worlds with all nitro Sunburst finish, cloth wiring, brighter late '60s Strat pickups, and of course: the BIG headstock (which I think is awesome).

Very nice, had a late 65 non trem and it had that nice "Brighter" sunburst.
It's aways a treat to hear an old gem like this Strat come back to life in the capable hands of a player like Riggs. Beautiful playing Riggs, love the double stops, and congrats on the great purchase John!

GOOD on you, young Sir! That is a sweet one. Pickguard is still very white; that is a large plus for me. And looks to be Brazilian Rosewood board; but who can tell, right? Nicely demo'd.
