In summer time you can also try ice play. Basically take some small figurines and immerse them in water and freeze. Then give the kids these in a bin with a jug of warm water and various droppers, syringes and small cups etc. the aim is to free the figurines from the ice. Obviously this is an outdoor bin but they love it!

Love the ideas. 🥰 We also use shaving cream to make a “cloud” sensory bin. It’s a bit messy but my 5yo daughter loves it and keep her very entertained.😉

My daughter just had her third baby and her 2 year old is having a hard time adjusting. So she asked me if I can help her make some sensory bins. This was a ton of help. I had some similar ideas, but grandma will be on a mission tomorrow morning. I raised 4 girls and if I had these. It would’ve been so helpful.

I use small bowls fill it with orbez and add mini Dino’s toys dolls numbers etc and then I use the little scoops it so fun

Everything was on point. I plan to use these ideas in my classroom (heading to Dollar Tree after work), but I'll have to come up with something to replace the fruit loops and living by the beach, I can go grab some sand, because living in FL, I will have a lot of uninvited guest. Also, I know your kids are older now, but they are so so cute!

These are amazing!!!! I can't wait to try them once we move into the new house. We have lots of space to do things like this there. I've been looking for some highchair activities. My little guy is 18 months and he's really into puzzles and coloring. Do you have any items you love? I'm a first time mom and basically figuring it all out on my own while my husband works.
