I just watched this video and got so excited about my worm farm. Decided to feed it and look after it and actually use my worm wee instead of neglecting the whole system. You are so inspiring 💕

Great tip on how to get the worms from the castings you collect, thank you! I was doing it the hard way picking through it by hand!

Hi Linda, thank you so much for your video. It is a real pleasure to follow you. You have created a little heaven on your farm. Have you made a video, how you build the pond?
All the Best and keep sane.

Thanks Eddi! No I’ve only got photos & not many. I hadn’t thought of videos back then. - would have been great!

Hi Linda, I just recently found your channel and am binge-watching right now. I understood, that worms are "working" mainly in the fresh additions on the top of the bin. So, would it not be easier to put some sort of flat-ish crates with holes in the bottom and sides in the wurm tub on top of the "old stuff". Fill the crates with fresh scraps and wait a day or two for the worms to move house into the crates. Then, lift the crates out temporaryly while harvesting the wormcastings. After, just empty the crates back into the tub. Got this idea from the design of the "indoor-worm-bins" - they usually are several levels on top of each other with the castings in the bottom and the worms and their fresh food in the upper levels.

Yes!! I might give this a go! Thanks Martina - part of the reason I share what I'm doing is that I know I don't have all the answers and getting some ideas from others is really valuable. Thank you so much 😊
