Scriabin's just beyond marvellous. So many different grades of intensity in his work... from brutal, jarring, violent and anarchistically modern to this softest, most gentle tender romanticism.

Totally agreed, he must have experienced heaven and hell.

Wonderful. I don't how I missed this prelude. As with many of Scriabin's preludes... deceptively simple on paper but requires great talent to master.

The harmonic richness is astounding still in his "romantic" period.

this must be so hard to play. not the notes themselves, but to play it with the soul that it was intended to be played with.

Give it a try. We all find our own voice in every expression we create. We all put on our pants one leg at a time.
