After both my dogs got extremely ill my vet told me both my dogs are going to do better on natural meals. I found your's to be cost efficient and very easy to do for beginners. My dogs, Hailley and Tatertot, and i thank you. I made this in a very small batch just for testing purpose and i gave them each a small amount. They ate it all! Every last bit. An hour later they were snooping around the kitchen looking for more. I brought it out and was shocked to see them spinning and dancing around wanting more. Thank you again. Oh and it was very budget friendly. Cost me less then 20.00 and i have about 8 meals each. Stay blessed!
Hi Andrea! Wow I'm so happy to hear that you figured out what works for your dogs!❤🐶 Thank you for taking the time to come back and let me know as well, that's wonderful news! Wishing you and your fur babies all the best! Xo
Never pay attention to the rude or mean comments, those people are miserable and want to make everyone else as miserable as they are. Be happy, don’t worry ♥️
I used to feed my pup raw. He had a perfect balance created by a professional. Turns out, just like people, dogs are different from one another. Different foods sit differently with different dogs. It just never sat well with him. We tried every type of meat source. So I eventually switched him to a kibble diet. He liked it at first. Now he almost refuses to eat because, I can tell, he just doesn't like it anymore. Hell, I wouldn't wanna be eating meat flavored cereal every meal the rest of my life. So today I'm making this switch. I have the same instant pot, we gonna make this. I know he'll love it. Also, don't worry about the ever so famous "balance" people talk about. If you think about a dog in the wild like any other animal, or any other living thing for that matter, their body's primary function is to survive. You do NOT need to be 100% on the balance. People on here act like your dog will die if you have the wrong balance. Don't sweat it. You're feeding your dog better than most of these people feed themselves. You try your best. Your dog is thriving so forget the haters and keep it up girl 🥰

Thank you for the recipe!! I started cooking for my two 65lb dogs 3 weeks ago. Jamie was getting sick after eating dry food. I tried several different kinds and he finally quit eating and looked so sick. As soon as I cooked a vet recommended food he is doing awesome! I am so happy and relieved! He’s finally well!
My vet was concerned about missy’s weight. I started feeding veggies and skinless air fried chicken and in a months time she lost 5 lbs. my Recipe is. Very much like yours and I am so very glad you are sharing this. It’s great. .!!!
We have a Cocker spaniel 7 yrs & Yorkie 2yrs. Yorkie is a picky eater & my Cocker will eat anything & since she was spayed has been gaining weight. She recently was diagnosed with a torn ligament in her rear left back knee. So we have decided to make our own food for them. Vet said we got to get her weight down. We have a 50% chance the ligament will heal without surgery ranging $1000-7000 is not in our budget. So... I landed on your channel. All ingredients purchased I’m going to try it today. 😉 I will update later how my 4-legged kids like it. You make it look so easy. Thank you!
My pug, Daizzie is so picky... I ran to the store when I saw your first video on how to make her food. I put everything together and bought dollar store containers and put the food in. The first time I popped one out of the fridge and warmed it and put it in her bowl, I don't think she came up for air... my goodness, she licked the silver off her bowl... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.... I know this will help her coat and give her the nutrition I know she needs. I feel so much better making this healthy version of her food. I can't thank you enough Diva!! My pug sends her love as do I! Kiss Mattie for us!
Spring 2020 we started cooking food in a crockpot for our 14 year old dog because we were told she only had probably a couple months left and she wasn't eating. Not only did she gain back most of the weight she lost but she lived over a year LONGER! We cooked chicken in the crockpot, de-boned it, then added carrots, potatoes, and rice and oatmeal. People would come in commenting on how amazing our house smelled and wondering what we were cooking. "Oh, just our dog's food, but we'll probably steal some for our dinnet too.😉" We just wanted her to have something she would eat for the last few weeks of her life. She loved it and perked up so much. Her vet was amazed at her turn around. We will probably continue cooking in some way for our new puppy. Thanks for this recipe and how to.
Agree.. Her house..her dog..her counter...her decision. If she wants to let her dog poop on the counter.. her decision. LOL. People get so critical it is so sad.
Excellent video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you tried - Parlandealey Pets Yummy Process (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering healthy recipes for dog food minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend Sam at very last got amazing results with it.
Thank you so much for your videos Shelby. Out of every one that I watched on YT, yours are my favorite. Maddy is so cute. Doesn’t bother me that she’s on the counter one bit. By the looks of your home, it’s apparent that you’re very clean. Besides, pet hair is a condiment in my household!! 😂😂 A true lover of animals. For my dog, who is huge, I can’t use potatoes, because a nice man at the feed store told me it’s what makes her feet smell like popcorn. He said she becomes yeasty.. who knew? She can’t have any chicken at all, so I took your advice and I cooked ground turkey and I mixed uncooked fish with it in the mixture later on. She loves anything with fish. I cooked a bunch of veggies. I avoided cauliflower only because I know that it can give babies gas, so I chose not to use it for that reason. Afterwards, I put the veggies in a Ninja blender with cooked hard boiled eggs and threw them in the blender with the shells still on. I researched it and the shells are really good for them, but they’re grounded finely. I grind up the veggies finely too, because normally, she turns her nose up at all veggies and fruits, but this way, she gobbles it all up. I added an apple this time too. I put in a little rice just to bind it all together, but she’s doing really well on it and her breath doesn’t smell bad anymore!! Thanks again and as for the trolls, guess we should only pity them, since they actually spend their time spreading negativity. That’s why they’re trolls… there’s a couple in every bunch.
I have been making our golden doodle food since we got her 6 months ago. I use sweet potatoes, carrots, can green beans, pumpkin, broccoli, 1/2 tsp turmeric, and switch out chicken, ground beef, ground turkey and canned salmon each time I make it. I have switched out sweet potato for brown rice too. My baby eats 1/2 cup at dinner time (with dry food for breakfast) and I get about 13 servings. Loved your video, thanks for sharing.
I don't have a dog yet but I'm a "fur baby mom" in training! I want to be ready and start off right. Thank you for this wonderful recipe and I've "Saved" it for the future.
That's my plan to one day have a dog if I am alone... He can eat like me because I eat very healthy. I snitch chocolate, but I would not give the dog any junk sweets. Thank you, young lady! A young senior.
Definitely going to give this a try! Several folks cautioned concerns about buying bone broth that may have onion in the ingredients... most do. I started saving all my bones in a bag in the freezer. We should NEVER give our dogs cooked bones, but when we get a few bones, we can sure make some nutritious homemade bone broth. I did that recently from ribs I had saved, and added the few chicken thigh bones into the pot. When it was cooled, I poured it over my pup's food and he went wild! I just got my foster 2 months ago and changed his kibble to a better grade with salmon for his dandruff issue. After watching a few videos with various veterinarians who practice both wholistic and traditional medicine, I am realizing the need to prepare my pup's meals for better health. I have not transitioned to homemade dog food, yet, but will shortly after I research recipes.
I just wanna thank you for this video my dog rosie has been struggling, our other dog her and my bestfriend thunder passed away from old age and rose stopped eating and drinking we had alot of changes in the way we live our lives she refused dry food and wet food but we just tried out your recipe and shes been doing alot better shes eating again im happy to see she's looking like shes doing alot better 🐶

My dog won’t eat regular dog food even when I mix it with raw meat or milk(milk he loves btw). I tried so many brands. I tried ur recipe and am so happy! Your recipe helped! It’s a joy to see my baby eat so hungrily. Wish you could also make videos about how u trained ur furbaby with basic tricks. Thank u!
Please continue making him homemade food. I just learned the truth about dog food, the meat flavoring is made from animal waste, road kill, euphanized pets and slaughterhouse remains. We should not be killing our own pets
After much research and incorporating your recipe with adjustments for my little Cavalier King Charles needs, I’m ecstatic to say my pup loves his food, has a healthy glow to his coat and a pep in his step. I’m so glad I came upon your channel. Thank you!
I have 2 Maltese, Piper and Mattie Mae. I have been fixing them chicken, brown rice, peas, carrots, and green beans. I am excited to try this recipe in the instant pot! I get chicken liver and chicken hearts from Whole Foods cook it in a pan chop it up fine and add it to that recipe but I use ground lamb and bison ground from Costco
Thank you Shelby!! My dog, Dickens, loves this recipe! He is only a year old and he has a tick born disease called Anaplasmosis which is similar to Lyme disease just not as severe. This disease has done a number on his appetite and quite frankly my nerves. I switched his diet from one “so called” premium food to another and got little results. I finally started studying the labels on these foods and was shocked when I discovered what was in them along with the lack of vitamins and nutrients. That’s when I decided to research homemade recipes. Thank God I found you and your wonderful recipe. Dickens loves it!! He’s been eating it for close to a month and he’s doing so much better physically. His veterinarian is also amazed to see such an improvement in his health!! THANK YOU!!
I have been looking at videos on making my 3 small dogs Homemade dog food. Your video has been the most informative, fun to watch and the relationship between you and your sweet Maddie is pure Love. TY
I made homemade dog food for my dog today. It was like she knew it was for her. I can go to the kitchen to prepare other foods and she will wonder in. This time she stayed right with me looking at me expectantly.
Jade _ I just love dogs. They are so smart. Since I started making her food, she lets me know when it’s dinner time. When I gave her regular dog food, she didn’t really want it anymore. Now she starts pacing by the kitchen and barks every now and then to get my attention. There is no hesitation now. I just need to add a multivitamin to make sure she’s getting the nutrients she needs.
Loved your video. When my dog became ill I started cooking his food also and within a couple of weeks he was healthy again. And believe me I was giving him “supposedly” good dog food.
Excellent video so glad you posted. I use your recipe and add a little apple on top and mix in 1/2 a tbsp of pumpkin daily with each feeding. My pups love this recipe and my vet recommended the pumpkin add for fiber. Awesome share keep doing what you are doing and ignore all negativity. You and Maddie rock!
Hello I started with Farmers Dog then came across your video. Thank you for sharing my 3 boys 🎉love it. Have been making it full time now. Thanks again
Shelby apart from the amazing homemade food recipe you did I also want to thank you for teaching me how to use an instant pot, I always been afraid of using a pressure cooker but I think this brand is a lot safer than the type my mom used so I think I’m going to give it a try because it’s so useful. Your dog is the cutest and you are amazing.
My baby loves watermelon lol ,I’ve recently started cooking her food again and I’m going to do your recipe I’ve tried it in the past my dog loved it so thank you so much😊
my dog absolutely loves this recipe! it's great for his little mouth and chompers! I serve this with a multivitamin and a scoop of pumpkin for digestion :) he is so happy and loves his food and this recipe doesn't break the bank. thank you!!💞
This is amazing! Thank you so much for taking care of your pet! If everyone learns the dark truth about commericial dog food, no one will buy it for their beloved pets
Thank you for this recipe!! This is a lot cheaper than my other food that I bought for $60 every four weeks. My dog loves it just as much and has the same ingredients. 🤗😁
Thank you for the recipe. I think that you should read the label on the bone broth, some have onion in it and dog are not allowed to have onion. Love the instant pot ideas.
I’ve had our Maltese on your dog food recipe since 12/2/20 and she’s doing so much better. Thank you! Our Princess had kibble she’d eat throughout the day, but never finished the amount she should be eating. She would always beg for our food. Once I started feeding her this homemade food, she doesn’t lift her face from her bowl until she’s done. We feed her in the morning and evening. She has also stopped begging for our food. Can’t thank you enough! ❤️🙌🏼
I love your videos! Thank you for sharing your love for your doggie with us. I also make my dog's food and follow pretty much what you do except I put everything in the food processor before adding it to the meat. I add chicken livers for B12, a can of salmon or anchovies for omega 3's, apple for fiber (make sure not to add any seeds,) pumpkin for tender tummies, and egg shell for calcium to the mix, and then live probiotics and fish oil on her food in her serving dish. (My dog has IBD and I healed it with my recipe.) She LOVES it and helps me make her food too, just like your pup! I think I'll try the vitamins your recommend. Note, please use only glass or stainless for containers because the plastics leach into the food and may harm our beloved pets.
Hi Janis! I LOVE this! You're such a wonderful dog momma💕 So happy to hear you were able to heal her IBD- how wonderful. Great point about the plastic containers, I've been using glass for 7-8 months now! I have an updated (instant pot version) on my channel too. Thank you, and I hope you have an awesome day, thanks for the love and for your awesome info❤🐶
Maddie is a doll!!! I made my first batch of home made dog food to my pups yesterday and wow!!! They loved it!! Great video 👍🙌❤️ Happy Holidays to you and Maddie!
I love your channel and just made this for my very senior Yorkie. However want to warn you, onions are toxic to dogs and most broths contain onion and onion powder in them. I found the organic better than boullion roasted chicken one has no onions! Thanks for making this great video!
@@thelowcarbchronicles9059 This one here: www.betterthanbouillon.com/products/roasted-chicken-base-reduced-sodium/ It's called the "better than boullion Roasted Chicken Base (Reduced Sodium)" and it's a paste. It's got turmeric in it which is amazing for anti-inflammatory in pups. Your recipe seriously put my 17 year old back on the mend, she LOVES veggies like I've never seen before, can't thank you enough!
Onions are not necessarily harmful to dogs. The animal food marketers say that to make the owner by their commercial dog food which is much much more harmful to dogs. Imagine the ancestors of dogs and dogs about two hundred years ago, they were in the wild and ate whatever they wanted to eat, humans didn't restrict their diet and we still shouldn't. Just don't feed them any unnatural products or seasonings including salt and granulated sugar
@@vishnupriyaradhakrishnan8 I have to disagree about the onions. In the wild dogs never ate onions. Everything I have ever read say do not feed onions to your pet's food.
Ppl are so rude, you do you love anyone can see how clean u r and besides thats ur home! Love the way you prepare for ur dog I also have always cooked my dogs. Commercial Dog food is no gd for ur animal just mk them rich! Plus i fine it is cost effective. 🤗
But I always use rice to add in my doggies food because it keeps their bowels firm n not runny. When food is not on the firm or moisture side it will give them the diarrhea same w certain meats. Love ur channel 🤗❣
I have been making homemade dog food for my gods for many years. They have all been healthy and lived long lives. We currently have a Yorkie and a Maltese, both came to us from rescues at about 18 mos. old and were both under weight. I started feeding them homemade immediately and now 2 yrs later they are both great little eaters and in fact a bit chunky. I have started reducing their portion sizes.
A few things I wanted to comment about. I looked into feeding my dog home cooked meals and bought a book on it by Karen Becker DVM. It it, she explained getting the ratio of nutrients was very important... if I recall correctly, magnesium to calcium ratio was particularly important. (Don’t quote me.) This scared me away from doing it. Look into this to make sure the multivitamin is adequate.. Make sure you’re doing it correctly because problems may not show up for a while. Is your bone broth sodium free or low sodium? Generally, broths are high in sodium which would not be good. One last thing, putting hot food into plastic causes plastic to leech into the food. It would be better to wait till food has cooled before putting in plastic containers. Not being critical, just trying to help.
Dar1213 It is usually the calcium phosphorus ratio that needs to be balanced. BUT not in every single meal but roughly over time. Same really for humans! But how often do you measure your own or your children’s food that carefully...? Not often? Like most of us then... And weirdly enough our children or us ourselves do not die crazy deaths due to unbalanced mineral balances in our food... Imagine that! 🧐😘🙃 All jokes aside. Most of these scare informations about maintaining the perfect balances come from the same sources. One: The rare occasions where someone has kept feeding their animal a piece of steak without bone everyday for their entire life and after a while then lacks of important nutrition can occur. But as long as you feed a variety of nutrients over time a dog won’t have any problems. Two: the animal food industry who do not want us to discover that we can make so much better food ourselves and cheaper compared to the low quality food they are making billions of your hard earned money from... When making commercial food meant to be fed everyday it becomes however more important to get the ratios correct. (Which most of the commercial companies have problems with causing food related problems all over the world off and on...). But if they can make us scared of trying, it’s a win for them...
@@brabalans348 Dogs are a bit different this way. Dogs need 5- 8 times more calcium than we do and unfortunately children are having a lot of issues that people are not attributing to nutrition but, that probably are:( Cooking for dogs is awesome! but, this recipe will last a long time. How often do our children eat the exact same meal twice a day for weeks on end???
You must have read my thoughts 😀. Yesterday I did a new batch of dogfood after the recipe of your first video, and I thought how great it would be to see an update. First I did the food as you adviced, but now I'm cooking the veggies and the rice together, and in an other pan I'm roasting the turkey or the rabbit, both are doing very well, and add it all together at the end. I found turkey and rabbit in my local dogstore, its meat with a certain part of bones and entrails(?) in. I don't think that we have canned bone broth in my country, but its easy to make it myself. Thank you for this great video, and all your tipps and advices!
Hey Shelby ! Thank you so much for making this video :) I have been finding the perfect recipe for a full dog meal for my shihtzu as kibble is not the best. I tried this recipe and my doggo loves it. Once again , thank you!
Love your we dog, I also cook for my dog but was making it in crock pot….I just got an instant pot and want to do in there. If someone commented on the dog being on the counter……how ignorant. Just looking at your house it is easy to see that you are a very good housekeeper and the best of doggie mothers too!
My Pom loves veggies, and especially Brussel Sprouts. Sometimes, if I am in a hurry to bring down the pressure on the IP, I will put my dishcloth over the vent so that I don't get slashing/spitting.
Thank you so much for this. My pugs are so fussy. I made this myself switching up the meat every week or so and they devour it every time! Love from a new subscriber from the uk xx
Wow I'm SO happy to hear that!!! Glad your pugs are devouring and loving their food, lucky to have such a great momma! You rock, thank you so much! Sending love back from Canada to you and your family💕🐶
My first dog was a peekaboo, many years of happiness! Thanks for sharing your recipes and using the instant pot. God bless you and Maggie, many years of happiness to you both.
Aww, Maddie ❣️ you cute gobbler. Some people put a large rock in the bowl and they have to move it around, which slows them down. Thanks for this video! Very helpful! Adding a digestive chew treat daily is good too. Be very careful with legumes, we'd been giving our dogs fresh garden peas for years but they discovered not too many years ago heart issues developing. My dogs know where they are in the garden and think they are theirs.🤣 Fresh veggies are the very best for us and our fur babies, of course. As soon as a plant is cut it starts losing nutrients and anything in the store takes time getting to you. Broccoli stems are tender and the best part of the plant home grown. I plan on making my own bone broth in the IP soon. I've been reading that people switching to this for their dogs have seen their teeth get so much better after- vets were asking what they'd tried!
Thank you so much for sharing what you feel Maddie! I really enjoyed your two videos! My dog has the same black stain Maddie had in her eye, kibble is the worst we can give our babies. I will try this for my little boy!
Great video and great presentation. I also make my dogs food homemade, but I’ve never added any kind of vitamins or anything like you did so this is super helpful and I will be ordering the items from Amazon with my next Amazon order. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. I’m a fan.
Hi Ms. Shelby, I am actually a new dog owner. Ever since that I have become an owner, I always buy in pet stores all my dog's food, from dry and wet dog food. But because of the COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdown in our area, I cannot buy all the dog food in the pet stores, so this leave me no choice but to give my dog a homemade dog food but I do not know where to start. You know, I've been experiencing depression before I had a dog and ever since my dog came into my life, everything in my life has changed. The reason that I've been feeding my dog of dog food from pet stores is that I am so scared that my dog will not last. So this morning, I bought a ground beef, chicken liver, carrots and I think I will still have to buy other ingredients but I have flaxseed powder and salmon fish oil which I always mix with my dog's food. I am hoping you could guide me in this journey. Thanks
Who in the world tells you people these things?? We Indians have been using HLADI (turmeric) for more than a millenia and we don't do any such voodoo with turmeric and it has worked for us for eons. Just yesterday my dad was telling me to start drinking a cup of milk with turmeric and of course that's the most common of the commenest thing for an Indian to do, is drink turmeric milk for any ailment. Believe me, on one, and I mean no one, adds black pepper to "activate" turmeric.
Sorry , but it's your business what you do with your dog. Absolutely love you videos. They have really helped me a lot . Something make bad comment ! I just totally animal lover. The same with mine ! Keep up the great videos. And she is so cute.
Shoot I wish my dogs food lasted that long this whole instant pot filled to the rim would last my 50 lbs golden 4 DAYS, but at least its easy and fast to make. Loved your 1st video
I fill up a whole crockpot with food and veggies and it lasts my 90lb dog about a week, actually alittle bit longer right now because I'm still adding alittle bit of canned food and dry food she's still transitioning. It costs me about $14/week to make her homemade food and she gets 2.5 cups twice a day.
Thanks for sharing🙏 Since changing to homemade meals my dog has so much more energy, fur is softer and she actually eats!!! She’s a picky eater but now I feel like she actually enjoys what she’s eating 😊
wisdom dna told me my overbiting dog was pekingese poodle, never realized that is pekapoo!!! how cool! 5 different sources said he was probably llaso apso and shi szu
I love this! My English Bulldog is about 1 ½ years old and suffers from skin issues, so I’ve been considering switching her to either a raw food diet or homemade food. This looks like a super simple way to try the homemade food route. Does anyone do this, but with fish? I’m thinking the Omega 3’s, from the fish, will help with her skin problems...
Fish can be good, and actually if you can find thrive algae oil that’s actually the best thing I’ve found for my dogs skin and coat. I lucked out and found it at my local Walmart. Turns out Algae is where the fish get omega 3’s from, so it’s basically a fish oil without any mercury or other junk that can be found in fish oil, and it even has added vitamin E (which is amazing for dry flaky skin in dogs)
I started watching videos about dogs a few years before getting one. Now I have a puppy and making food for him is simple. I mix it with kernels so he gets his vitamins, but I will definitely check out the vitamins mentioned.

I switched to your recipe for a couple of years now. Teddy loves this recipe. And he's very picky!
Please don't stop posting your recipes.
I am definitely gonna to start feeding my fur babies with this food.thank you for posting your step by step process
Can you put the recipe and ingredients
I have 3 babies and they have issues with yeast so I make there food but yours looks good as well
What a beautiful little girl and who cares if she is on the counter she is the star ⭐️ of the show.
You shouldn’t have to over explain when Your dog goes on Your counter. Your dog is your baby.
Agree.. Her house..her dog..her counter...her decision. If she wants to let her dog poop on the counter.. her decision. LOL. People get so critical it is so sad.
I couldn't agree more.
Yeah. We’re here cooking for our dogs because we spoil the hell out of them
yes yes yes , your house your rules :)))))
My dog Nora approves of this video. Ty 💪
Same!
Me too!! I’m training haha
Please! Please! Pleeeeaasssee make more videos about recipes & health advice & nutrition info that you’ve learned along the way. These two recipe videos have been so helpful!
My dog did not eat kibble either. She loves this! Thank you so much!
Loved this video so much! I had my own upholstery shop for 25 years. It was a lot of work but gave me so much pleasure also. Thanks for the memories.
After much research and incorporating your recipe with adjustments for my little Cavalier King Charles needs, I’m ecstatic to say my pup loves his food, has a healthy glow to his coat and a pep in his step. I’m so glad I came upon your channel. Thank you!
I really need to try cooking for my 10 month old cavi he is so picky and underweight it breaks my heart to see him so picky
Hi Tina! I just adopted a darling King Charles. Would you mind sharing your adjustments? :)
I have 2 Maltese, Piper and Mattie Mae. I have been fixing them chicken, brown rice, peas, carrots, and green beans. I am excited to try this recipe in the instant pot! I always worry if they are getting enough vitamins. Thank you for sharing the vitamin supplement that you use. Love, love, love your videos!!!!
thanks for sharing! i add liver, heart to the food i make for my dogs. plus also put blueberry, cranberry and pumpkin seeds too. of course all of these are blended. they love it too
I get chicken liver and chicken hearts from Whole Foods cook it in a pan chop it up fine and add it to that recipe but I use ground lamb and bison ground from Costco
TY
Okay but can we talk about how Maddie is the cutest puppy in the world!! She also has a very very beautiful owner!🤍🤍
I made homemade dog food for my dog today. It was like she knew it was for her. I can go to the kitchen to prepare other foods and she will wonder in. This time she stayed right with me looking at me expectantly.
Kelli Anderson my dog is exactly like that. Somehow he knows what I’m making is for him and will stay in the kitchen the ENTIRE time 😂😂
Jade _ I just love dogs.
I want to start but i am wondering how much am i supposed to feed them and i have large dogs
Whoopsie!! I just scrolled down further and found what I needed!! Can’t wait to make this for my Maltipoos!!
Loved your video. When my dog became ill I started cooking his food also and within a couple of weeks he was healthy again. And believe me I was giving him “supposedly” good dog food.
You are a good mom and your pup is lucky. You are doing great about the health by feeding natural food and also giving multivitamin. ❤️❤️
Great Video! I’m going to follow your recipe and hopefully Mali will like it. Can’t wait to see! Thanks again 😊
My baby loves watermelon lol ,I’ve recently started cooking her food again and I’m going to do your recipe I’ve tried it in the past my dog loved it so thank you so much😊
@Chocolate Gold mine loves watermelon too! 🍉💕 Too cute. Awe I'm so glad! 😊
I agree 💯 our dogs are our babies ❤️👍
my dog absolutely loves this recipe! it's great for his little mouth and chompers! I serve this with a multivitamin and a scoop of pumpkin for digestion :) he is so happy and loves his food and this recipe doesn't break the bank. thank you!!💞
So glad I found your site. I will try a recipe right away.
Thank you. Your sweet baby is one lucky pup!
That tongue when she look at her food❤️❤️❤️ I’m going to try this for my fur baby- thanks Maddie and mama
The sign of a happy (and hungry) doggo! hehe she kills me😍❤ Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! Take care😘
I also add ground egg shell for calcium, as well as krill, hemp, and cod liver oil for healthy fats. Pet stores or Amazon sell this combo oil
I’m getting a puppy on Friday this week!!
I’ve gotten all the ingredients I need to make her food, I’m so thankful you put this video out!
This is amazing! Thank you so much for taking care of your pet! If everyone learns the dark truth about commericial dog food, no one will buy it for their beloved pets
I made your instant pot recipe tonight, but just made a few tweaks. My two extremely picky-eating maltipoo puppies approved it!!
Thank you for this recipe!! This is a lot cheaper than my other food that I bought for $60 every four weeks. My dog loves it just as much and has the same ingredients. 🤗😁
You’re Maddie is soooo precious! Very good recipe and very easy!, 👍👍🤗🤗🐶🐶🐶
I love how hungry she is as if she never ate a day in her life animals ❤️😁
I made your dog food from the first video, and my pups love it. I have used it now for several moths. Thank you for sharing your recipes.
Thank you for the recipe. I think that you should read the label on the bone broth, some have onion in it and dog are not allowed to have onion. Love the instant pot ideas.
So silly that people try to make you feel bad. My son and I just adopted a dog and we can't wait to try your recipe!
I have a peekapoo too! Excited to try your recipe!! Loved the video and your dog is so cute 😍🥰
Just started feeding my frenchie and my chihuahua home made food.. my frenchie has horrible gas and tummy issues..So glad I started doing this
I’m so happy I can use a pressure cooker, definitely cuts down the time. I put my Bichon puppy on the counter too 🥰
I’ve had our Maltese on your dog food recipe since 12/2/20 and she’s doing so much better.
So glad to see such a good dog's parent :)
Maddie is a doll!!! I made my first batch of home made dog food to my pups yesterday and wow!!! They loved it!! Great video 👍🙌❤️ Happy Holidays to you and Maddie!
Thank you for Sharing this Wonderful Video. Your dog Is Sooo Precious😍🥰
I love your channel and just made this for my very senior Yorkie. However want to warn you, onions are toxic to dogs and most broths contain onion and onion powder in them. I found the organic better than boullion roasted chicken one has no onions! Thanks for making this great video!
Priscilla Ines What brand of boulllion are you using?
@@thelowcarbchronicles9059 This one here: www.betterthanbouillon.com/products/roasted-chicken-base-reduced-sodium/ It's called the "better than boullion Roasted Chicken Base (Reduced Sodium)" and it's a paste. It's got turmeric in it which is amazing for anti-inflammatory in pups. Your recipe seriously put my 17 year old back on the mend, she LOVES veggies like I've never seen before, can't thank you enough!
it is pretty easy to make bone broth or chicken broth in crockpot, i just bought my instapot so i was checking this out.
And to think she was gonna Not upload the first video 😰😱 goodness, I love your videos since that video, so I'm so glad you posted that video
Best dog recipe I've seen yet!!
But I always use rice to add in my doggies food because it keeps their bowels firm n not runny. When food is not on the firm or moisture side it will give them the diarrhea same w certain meats. Love ur channel 🤗❣
Yes I do too I use brown rice or organic whole oatmeal
I love your videos and the way you treat your dog. I love it❤❤❤❤❤
I have been making homemade dog food for my gods for many years.
LOVED THIS!!!! I actually watched your other video and it was sooo helpful ! my frenchie LOVES it!!!!! thank you thank you thank youuuuu!!!!!!
I have a frenchie too:)
All jokes aside.
I use Supplical after my 7lb Japenese Chin eats her homeade food, morning and eve. 👍
You should be more scared feeding store bought food. Do some research on that garbage!
@@TheGreatRondo exactly!!!!
Yahoo. Husband wanted this method.
iam starting my poodle mix and maltese on home made food food you have been so so helpful thank you
I watch this playlist! Friend from Tuber Chat! Great information❤
Thank you for theses questions and answers portion of this video. I had all theses same questions. Love both of your food videos!
I'm watching in preparation of hopefully bringing home a Maltese puppy. Thank you for such outstanding, positive and uplifting videos.
I think it's your beauty
is the real reason!
For sure I'll check that other video 👍
I love watching you make your dog food. ❤️🐶❤️
My pugs eat everything especially the girl ....They love sweet potato..carrots..broccoli..
My first dog was a peekaboo, many years of happiness! Thanks for sharing your recipes and using the instant pot. God bless you and Maggie, many years of happiness to you both.
Thank you for your videos. Much easier to listen without the fast loud music in the background!!
My dogs know where they are in the garden and think they are theirs.🤣
Fresh veggies are the very best for us and our fur babies, of course.

Thanks
Thank you....I want to start doing this too and now I have a starting point. Canada Rocks! I'm on Vancouver Island.
Just a tip, add (freshly cracked) black pepper after the tumeric to activate the tumeric! It increases the benefits :)
black pepper isnot good for dogs,
Harpist, Tracy Sweet a small amount is just fine ..it’s needed to activate the Tumeric .
@@techlucky8672 interesting, thank you for mentioning this.
Sorry , but it's your business what you do with your dog. Absolutely love you videos. They have really helped me a lot . Something make bad comment ! I just totally animal lover. The same with mine ! Keep up the great videos. And she is so cute.
I did the receipe for my pups today and they love it! Thanks!
I can't wait to try this on our new boy! Thanks for sharing
Shoot I wish my dogs food lasted that long this whole instant pot filled to the rim would last my 50 lbs golden 4 DAYS, but at least its easy and fast to make. Loved your 1st video
Kristina Korovina how long did she say the food lasted her?
@@jazminer9215 2.5-3 weeks for her small dog
I love you videos so much thanks to you I got my dog off of the store bought dog food and she seems too love your recipe so much.
just a note to be aware of store bought bone broth .... garlic and onion concentrate added for flavor .
Onion is not good for dogs. They don't show problems right away, but it's bad for them.
She is your ⭐️ haters will hate!!!!
KDdough1 a lot of other recipes for dog food recommend adding fish oil for this reason!
KDdough1 just put in a half can of sardines.
I started watching videos about dogs a few years before getting one. Now I have a puppy and making food for him is simple. I mix it with kernels so he gets his vitamins, but I will definitely check out the vitamins mentioned.
I don’t even own a dog but yeah I’m watching this video good job RUclips suggestion box I do love dogs so I don’t mind watching this video
When do you put the calcium into the food.
Awesome video. Good job!
