Those candle lights are perfect for a Victoian style tree . You could always add them and have both. I've done that in the past with mine. I'm now in a tiny bungalow so have a cute 4ft artificial one. I do have retro 70s coloured lamp and flower lights now 😊 You've done a stunning job though ❤beautiful

Your decorations are stunning! I’ve been on the fence about candle lights for the tree, but I think I’ll get some now - luckily here in Oz the unwired ones are still available! We’re in the finishing stages of our new build and your blog gave me the confidence to go with a deep navy for the media room, which I’m doing in an ‘English gentleman’s club’ vibe as it will be my husband’s retreat, as well as colour in our kitchen, laundry and bedrooms. So many houses here are that white on white look, so I was doubting my choices until I started watching your videos and saw how classy and cozy using colour can be! So thank you for that. Can’t wait to see what you bring us tomorrow!
Everthing looks subtly festive and warm. The ribbon is so pretty. A nice angled cut at the ends would give it a nice finish. Looking forward to more vlogmas!
I've gone for similar colours this year, gold, bronze, green, copper, brass and a few jewel tone baubles (purplish) on my tree. A few are modern baubles but of vintage design - they have two white frosted hoops around the middle of them. The tree topper is a gold wire flower/star design with a few amber beads threaded onto it. No ribbons or feathers on mine, just chains of gold beads in varying designs
Love that Ralph Lauren Christmas look. Classic and sophisticated. The only critique I’d give. Just a suggestion. I’d hang a mirror over the mantle. You’ve got pictures on both sides. Needs a break of a mirror perhaps. Anyway, you literally can do no wrong! Awesome inspirational taste.

I’ve noticed English people apply their Christmas tree lights so differently than we do here in America. Here, we wouldn’t have the wiring visible. We wrap lights around each individual branch from truck to outer edge. Just an observation. ❤️
Beautiful home. Tip for lighting your tree. Start winding your lights at the top like you did however start at the trunk and wind around a branch then take the light string straight back to the trunk then repeat on the next branch at the top working every branch to the bottom. You won’t see dangling wires and you will have a better lit tree. Also, add lights to your mantle and stairway garlands. Add some red glass balls to pop everything…..it’s Christmas!!!!
