Brings tears to the eye and chills to the spine of Ray Lewis, Ray Berry, and all fans of Ravenscolts. The words may have had to change a bit in '96 but the tune will never be dropped.
@@carrite LOL. The leadership of Cleveland didn't want them, and proved it by giving everyone else a new stadium but wouldn't even do renovations to the Mistake By the Lake.
This is their second attempt at a fight song, the first one was written by John Modell "The Ravens of Baltimore" which didn't go over well, so Baltimore's Marching Ravens leader John Zieman wrote the new one which has the old Colts fight song music with new Ravens lyrics. That band was the old Colts Marching band that stayed together after the team left.
I would love to know what the "fight songs" were for the other NFL teams. I grew up in the 60's a Packer fan. I can think of the song they played whenever the team kicked off, but that wasn't really a fight song.
You can never take the Baltimore out of the Baltimore Colts, stuff of legends.
What a great song and such great memories, I expect to hear Chuck Thompson when the music ends!

I like the Colts song when the little old lady played it on the organ during the wedding scene in "Diner".
One character in the movie was named Modell.
@@rockvilleraven Wow. Prophetic.
Now, Baltimore is back cause of Ravens' name, they changing the lyrics.
