Boo hoo. Keep crying about how the games you've been served on a silver platter are reliant on you buying them while neglecting indie games who are losing all the credit due to whiny "gamers" like you.
For whatever reason, T10 always seems timid to make small post-release changes like updating car models despite already having the model available. I think it's because they use every incremental upgrade as marketing material for the next title, so it gets shelved until then.
When they release a game every 5-6 years this is cerainly a very long gap and people will expect quality and innovation. If they do small inceremental updates in span of 5 years then RIP forza forever.
no excuse for them to be using old car models that arent even accurate for this title when they literally said and I qoute "ALL NEW BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP" weve all been played! there is a serious list of things wrong with this game! I was a die hard forza Motorsport fan beat the first 4 100% the game feels like FH5 just on race tracks now SMH!
I'm hoping that will change after they dropped the number from the title and have gone live service. I would hope they continually update this game for a long time, and fund it via game pass and live subscriptions.
That’s what happens when your owned by one of the largest mega gaming corporations and your running one of their flagship’s that deals with real world agreements
They did it with the circuits and of course people complained because they were missing a lot of important ones. But for me they did well, it was time to redo the circuits. I'd say it's time to redo the older models too.
And i do think that with the way that they've built the game will allow thrm to make updates to the car models over time. They should laser scan them though
While im very happy they are doing rescanned tracks, its just annoying that they left alot till the 11th hour. 4 of the tracks in the current track list are completely fake, so how are they still rescanning/finishing tracks for the game AFTER its released, This is a team backed by Microsoft Studios that had 4 years to sort this release content out. Remember these arent paid or unpaid DLC's, its just "oops we know the game shouldve launched with these tracks but we were asleep, but dont worry they are coming". So they will just be added in a random update some time next year.

Dunno if you guys noticed it but, remember when the older forza games had their car dash elements light on during ignition along with minor details like the seatbelt indicator chimes for different vehicles. But the new forza titles just outright skipped those, first noticed in fh4 and now in fh5.

One thing that bothers me is that for the "1994 Ferrari F355" they use a model with paddle shifters. Which would make it a "1998/1999 Ferrari 355 F1". All pre 1998 f355s are manual... and the ones with paddle shifters do not have the "F" before the 355. I know it's a small detail... but it shows me a lack of care with some of the cars. The first time I took an "f355" for a spin on FM5 back in the day I was really disappointed to see that f1 transmission. But life goes on... At least there is a 355 in the game

Forza uses old models that arent even correct at that!
@@MuscleCarLover def get what your saying Clearly they are using the gear ratio for the 4 speed manual trans that would come with the car how they were originally manufactured with the nascar 426 Hemi in it! the 3 speed auto Torqueflite 727 was an option that probably wouldnt suit the car for what the game is! not the same as forza using a old models and sticking paddle shifters for different years on the interior vs the traditional manual that was in the 94 F355 the models arent time period correct to the era of the cars in forza thats the difference interior still the same dates on the Charger
I think they should replace the old models as time goes on in Forza motorsport and also replace the old models in Horizon 5 as long as its still supported
At least a less-expensive rescan/rebuild for FH5 quality. We’re not asking for a pristine model to be pulled out, just some more work and care to be put in.

@@BethesdaModder thats interesting tbh. the 3rd gen mr2 is very easy to find. here in the uk, you see them relatively often. its the worst one by faaaaaaar for me, but i can see why some like them.
Assets aren't part of the game, they're just assets. The game is code. From the ground up = rewritten code. Assets are functionally negative, they're _never_ considered as being meaningful game content.
The Honda Prelude is the one that gets me. I own one in real life and the headlights and tail lights are wrong. The rear proportions are off and the whole car just doesn't look right. But I still appreciate the fact that my car is in a game 😂 If they do a remodel it should be a JDM type s however
I agree, I mean if they did it overtime would be great. Or even not include the car at launch but change the car models and release them for the weekly seasonal events that they do for horizon. That being GT7 developers spend up to 6 months designing a car
Gran Turismo remodeling cars often? 🤣 They reused GT4 and GT PSP models in GT5 and 6, which were terrible looking in comparison to the new models PD made for those games, at least the ones in Forza don't look like low poly messes.
The whole thing it’s wrong tbh, the headlights are straight up horrendous not even close, quarter panels and side skirts are quite different on the real thing, rear end also looks off in lots of angles
@@StuffedUpSlime it was updated model, they definitely didn’t start from scratch, the whole model needs to be scrapped, take a look at the GT or nfs model, it’s 20 times more accurate
Some of that may have come down to ease of access. The Spec R S15 wasn't exactly common in the US when the car was first added to the game and they may not have had a way to scan it. But, nearly two decades later is long enough that they should have scanned one by now.
This has been fairly common knowledge for a while now but it's great to see a comprehensive and we'll researched video from a known creator about it. In my opinion, they should remodel the oldest models first and use it as an excuse to highlight them as spotlight cars every month or two. Then, when they get up to the laser scanning era, it'd be nice to see remodelled lights but the bodywork is already more than good enough, though I doubt they'll get that far.
@@Rob-gs8lqGT7 can look dull, no doubt, but to say it “looks like crap” just makes you look like an Xbox fanboy. And you have the audacity to talk about credibility? Come on bro, get real. OP didn’t even mention graphics as he was talking about upgrades. Don’t get me wrong, I have my issues with GT7 as they also reuse some car models/interiors from the previous GT Sport which really looks subpar at 4K. Also their UX is complete dog shit, having to press X literally fifteen times just to get back to the main menu but I’ve only ever seen Xbox Fanboys pretend it’s the worst looking game ever and those are usually the mouth breathers who’ve never even played it. They usually base their opinion on Xbox focused channels that cherry pic the least flattering screenshots or videos to represent all of GT7. It’s worth remembering that GT7 goes with an unsaturated photorealistic look so it can look dull sometimes under certain conditions and on certain tracks at certain times of day. But the same cannot be said about the cars as they still shit on Forza’s models. GT7 simulates each coat of paint, down to the clear coat. Also, compare Forza interiors to even GT Sport interiors from PS4 era and it’s not even close - GT has way more attention to detail. Forza uses simplified models and textures to represent materials in an interior while GT7 and even GT Sport are sometimes indistinguishable from a real photo.
I have played forza for a long while and I can’t lie even though gt7 may look slightly graphically worse, it does have more content and devs that listen to their community. In my opinion forza is getting very repetitive and the developers are being very lazy with their content and community. Look at the Horizon series it’s just reused cars with a new map. 6 years to say that this new motorsport has been “built from the ground up” when all that has changed is the physics engine. I mean what are these devs doing😂, let’s just hope solar crown lives up to the hype.
I will use this as an opportunity to complain about how all the tire textures are still the same as FM5 and they really don't look great if you look closely.
@@kristiansand2480 well, the only one ive really compared is the current bmw supra :V im not sure why but certain details are a little off in the forza variant. maybe its just the lighting though? but take the rear window. the supra has quite a large area around the window thats black. in forza, for some reason this area is matte? in gt the whole glass piece is reflective, as it should be
@@olavofernandes7286 As for the model, I don't think it is possible to catch up with GT7. But I would like to see it catch up to the level of NFS at least.
Doesn't apply to assets because they aren't functional game elements. Ground Up = Code. The code _is_ the game and defines everything the game does and how it does it. Assets just exist on the screen and don't matter.
@@alondite215 we could have excused them if they were just recycling small low priority props. but to not redo car models that have been used since the first motorsport which already looked outdated a decade back, IN A GAME WHERE THE ENTIRE THEME IS BASED AROUND CARS???? for a studio which earns WAY MORE revenue than polyphony (gt devs) ever will, all the while producing inferior assets?? it's just inexcusable sorry.
I think this is one aspect where competing racing titles/studios should work together and share scanned cars models with each other. It wouldn't make the individual games less compatetitive and other than the potential licensing issues it shouldn't be that complicated.
cant really do that when different devs in these studios arent running there games on the same engines GT series Forza ACC etc. are all run on different engines this is why the cars look different across the titles! Forza uses old models and half of them arent accurate anyway
Facts. I think as a collective, that these companies need to try to scan as many vehicles as possible for not only gaming but also rendering and historical significance
Dude, unfortunely they can't share Car models scanns, Car Manufactures had Fees (licensed cars) for only individual dev studio permision to scanning whole new and old models, so, if some dev studio pays money for scanning some cars, they won't share, not for the money but yes for some legal dispositions, its imposibble for the devs to have a "Scanned cars models" Library fot the previos reasons
In the latest Forza Horizon 5 livestream, the developers at Playground Games mentioned that they wanted to scan a Nissan Tsuru but it was difficult to find one that is in immaculate condition as the Tsuru is used as taxis and everyday commuter cars in Mexico. The developers eventually found one that was in good condition to scan. Perhaps some of these outdated car models in the new Forza Motorsport will be updated eventually once the developers can find an immaculate car without any modifications or damage. Cars like the R32 Skyline and E46 M3 are popular tuner cars and it is becoming increasingly rare to find one in good condition without any modifications. At least the Subaru 22B is updated.
@@Cuhh346 It costs money that Forza probably doesn't want to spend. You can't just bring scanning equipment and a whole crew of people to Japan for free. Also have to worry about housing these people, and food. It's money Forza has, but if they did it for every wrong car, they'll be bankrupt. It's better to just let it be.
It's bullshit. Even if you can't find one to scan, you can create one from scratch. But you see, these scumbags not only didn't bother to create anything new, but not even to update the really really old models. The new "new" stuff this FM has were imported directly from Horizon. This FM is nothing but a scam.
Compared to Horizon 5 definitely ever since the switch back in 2020 (I think) where Horizon went first then Motorsport it gave Playground Games a big favour and Horizon no longer has the short end of the stick but now Motorsport has the short end of the stick and as a result it didn't gain Turn 10 any favours and if anything Motorsport seems like such a downgrade in comparison to Horizon 5, it's only got improved graphics, wheels and tyres physics and online system going for it. As a result Horizon 5 seems more of a next gen game. Turn 10 has a lot of catching up to do but they better hurry and deliver as the hype won't last long, because of the lack of features that it's missing from Horizon the hype I bet would only last 5 months if that. Everyone thought they would leave Horizon 5 and go on to Motorsport heck even I was going to play Horizon less (disbite the fact I have nothing wrong with FH5) but nope I'm stay with Horizon.
@@Larssemaidk about just the graphics....it was a step backwards to use TAA vs MSAA. TAA has ghosting and muddies texture detail. However the general consensus is that the handling physics are far better and the multi-player is great. The biggest issue EVERYONE seems to have with the game is the upgrade/leveling system.
I stopped giving Turn10 my money a long time ago. 1-4 are it, the franchise went to hell since. Makes me super sad thinking back how much fun everything was.
@@Homerboy44the only franchise that is close to Forza is gran turismo And it’s not doing too well nowadays as well Not to mention he’ll have to buy a whole new console just for it It’s not worth it

@@Homerboy44the thing is though, the arcade racing is even worse. Aside from forza horizon and NFS as well as the crew, what else is there? We no longer have burnout, midnight club, ridge racer, motorstorm, blur, split second etc
How is it weird? It's standard practice to reuse assets as much as possible in game development because it's smarter, more efficient development that makes better use of resources. And also because art assets don't matter, and having reused assets doesn't make the game play any different, which is the only thing that matters.
@@alondite215Then why would they really bother and keep using the heavy emphasis "Built from the ground-up" if the game is almost the same as a game from 2014?
Well, I mentioned it in your last video and I'm mentioning it again! There are several classic american cars that are still the F'd up models from the FM1 as well like the disproportionate '69 Camaro and ,'70 Challenger. Maybe give the classic muscle car some respect too and mention them in your vids?
I own irl VW Golf 1, 2, 3, 4 and they are all off in the game. Even the newest addition of the MK1 for example has wrong factory colours and is completely missing the fact, that a couple colours are for the full body WITH all the plastic parts like the bumpers and it's famous Pirelli rims are bad modelled too. For the MK2, the hood is since FM2 days incorrect. The BBS RM factory rims are not even close to the real rims, the rear wiper still is in wrong "off" position and the car still comes in-game with an aftermarket exhaust tip which doesn't exist for the stock version of the car! The MK3 is in general completely off to it's real counterpart for the whole body. And about the MK4 we already talked about the bad model shape of it's body too. And it's even more worse, that these cars have even more issues now. For example the speedometer in the MK2 stucks at 160km/h now and it's 16V plate in the front grill is silver instead of red. Two accurate things the last 16 years are wrong now..
Basically, redo the whole JDM catalog. Another one that slipped the net until recently was the Ferrari F50, the rear wheels are concaved on the real car & yet in Forza they were the same design as the front wheels. This was only recently changed, however if you watch the wheels spin they will transition to the incorrect design when the car is underway. Not good enough.
5:27 actually so embarrassing that I thought this was captured from FM4, not FM8…. Shows just how bad and outdated some of the models look, like literally almost worse than some of the ones in Motorsport 4 💀
I think the only great thing from motorsport rn is the fact you can get the e-ray for free by playing it, and then just going back to the horizon series, hopefully they fix the game through updates later on, like seriously, the graphics are mostly inconsistent
I still find Jeremy Clarkson narrating Auto Vista crazy to this day and the idea to include him in the game is one of the best things the forza series has ever done.
I think it likely took so long to get the 22b updated model, because of how extremely rare they are… there were only roughly 450 made. Hopefully they get the r32, s15 etc sorted soon, they shouldn’t take nearly as long
If they were able to fix the textures of the Subaru 22B for the new Forza Motorsport, why couldn’t they do the same thing for the other major culprits of outdated car models, like the S15 Silvia, R32 Skyline GT-R, etc?
I do agreed the models needed to be updated but at the same time it doesn't bother me that much, also it's worse when GT series copy and paste old car models (maps too maybe) from the PS1/PS2/PSP era called as "standard cars" to their latest game and it sticks out like a sore thumb but not sure if they still do it on GT7 though
Those port car model are from gran turismo 4 used in both gran turismo 5 and 6 due to hardware limitation at the time meanwhile gran turismo sport and gran turismo 7 all car models are built from scratch
At least gt5 and gt6 marked them as standard cars and they was still more accurate that some of forza car models ever since gt sport all car models is made from scratch they have much better car models than fm
Honestly it's weird the Eight-Six is so unloved like they always put it out as a reward and it fetches stupid prices on auction when it's out of season you'd think they'd put some care into updating it
The only way this game will even catch my interest is if It has NASCAR not just tracks and a couple of cars from one driver but at least half the field and even some historic cars and models that were used in NASCAR Pettys Superbird, Earnhardts Monte Carlo etc
I'd be concerned if they DO update some of the cars, that they'd remove custom aero bits and bobs when they do it. Not enough cars have those available :(
Forza still greatly lacks in quality from a professional standpoint. Interiors on pretty much all cars are quite lacking, I've seen fonts and textures that are clearly incorrect but the main thing is that polygon counts are low considering the advance in hardware in the past 10 years. In interviews for FM 2023, they literally stated that all cars will use the same type of materials, and if the community tells them something is wrong, they'll update it (not a clue if they actually do). Try looking at a few cars and see if materials and textures like leather or alcantara look the same. The next point is car lights, does Turn10 have any idea what light refraction is? It's like glass doesn't exist in the forza engine. Car paints are just generic and even feel like a step back from the XB1 games. I'd also like to comment that implying 3D photo matching is outdated is wrong. As far as I'm aware, that's the best way to check for inaccuracies and still great for scratch modeling. As for the old gen models, they were made inaccurately because of the developers lacking the necessary skills or talent, not because of the technology. Have a look back in FM7 and FH4/5 at cars that were not seen since FM4, there’s a lot of inconsistency. You also might want to think about cars from Gran Turismo 5 and 6 are considerably higher in detail despite being the same age as the older Forza Motorsports (GT has it’s problems but polygon count, paints, glass and overall accuracy is far higher even on the X360/PS3 gen).
I noticed that the Mk4 Golf in Horizon 5 looks very poorly proportioned. But then DLC cars like the 2020 Audi S3 look spectacular. Also for a few versions the 2013 Ford Focus ST has driver side window switches on both sides of the car. I'd like to see Forza do something with the infotainment screens like Test Drive Unlimited where they display mapping. Also all the in car clocks are stuck at 12:00 pm on FH5. I'd also like to see some effort going into localising some of the traffic in Horizon. They've been using the same euro spec Ford Fiesta, Ford Transit and BMW X5 for so long. I mean just recycle old Forza models for the traffic and localise it. Only the original Forza Horizon had traffic specifications models like the Toyota Camry.
As someone who primarily plays Gran Turismo, I wouldn't mind at all if they reused some models from GT6 in GT7. It would mean we'd get more cars more often. The issue I have with Forza is that they marketed this game as "From the ground up" implying things would be new. Again, I wouldn't mind good models from Forza 6,7 or even 5 honestly being reused, but when you have models for cars that are nearly 2 decades old in your from the ground up experience, it feels really out of place, and a little bit like false advertising.
I think it would also be helpful is the devs, during one of the Let's Go live streams, went into depth about how they capture and render these cars and the time it takes. I don't feel like the gaming community (myself included) fully appreciates they time and effort it takes to do this.
Eh, it's not that we don't appreciate it, it's that they've had nearly two decades to scan or rescan some of these cars and it's clearly something they don't care about which is why we're so frustrated by it.
@@Glitchunlocked Agreed. They definitely prioritized some cars over others, and why they didn't prioritize the classics. My original comment was referring to the game in general--I should've specified.
How is there no hope for what is _by far_ the best playing game in the series? Seriously why do you people even play video games when it's obvious the only thing that you care about is staring at images on a screen like a retard? Gameplay matters twice as much as every other aspect of video games combined, and the gameplay here is phenomenal.
still wish there was an option to pay cash for parts. having to grind for xp and do pointless practice sessions because my car isn't fast enough is kinda stupid. i understand the sentiment but it just makes it not as fun to play
Glad I canceled my preorder, it’s pretty sad how bad the headlights look on pretty much every car in the new game. I hope the game gets better as the game moves on but until then they are down 100 bucks, not a big loss by any standard but I’m sure there are many like me
No one picks up on the fact that Ubisoft use models from the crew 1 still, i have big issues with how digital gauge clusters are animated and also how the agera R has a very very bad model.
their paid shills or man children that cant even enjoy a simcade they need horrible driving physics and a full out arcade game to enjoy it motorfest is crap online is crap the campaign is crap . the driving physics are crap . breaking properly is basically apunishment in motorfest . its also kinda sus its named motorfes and its releasing just before motorsport . thats what knock off companies do to try and trick people who dont know beter into thinking their getting something their not like a family member buying a child game for example
Now I will play a bit of devil's advocate here and say that some of these cars like the R32 are nearly impossible to find stock and have the owner allow the car to be laser scanned.
I'd assume it's not that impossible for a company like turn10 to finance something like that. plus they can always rely on photomatching to model and get some people to spend a lot of time on models like those, if gran turismo can do it, why not forza?
@@rayjynx The thing is photomatching doesn't hold up anymore. Those old models were made like that. Gran Turismo also has a problem with old car models (with GT5 being the most obvious as most cars were from GT3/4) it's just the heavier use of PBR along with extremely good quality textures that make them look far better. For an example of finding stock cars being hard, they couldn't get a stock FD RX-7, the one that they used didn't have a wing.
It's a shame to have so many visual bugs in the game rn on cars or aftermarket wheels we haven't had before in the older games! Graphics and most important the physics are great and the game feels really good with wheels to drive too, sad this is a bit overshadowed by all the bugs we have to start with.. 😢
Honestly the hate for this game is greatly exaggerated. People will find the smalleat things and make it seem like ita game breaking. Not saying the gamenis perfect, but not near as terrible as some people claim
Here a few: You can't change the colour for most of the stock rims and many aftermarket rims because most of the time they stay silver or have a really weird silverish-touch in the colour you choose. Race rear bumper on the Porsche 3.3 Turbo removes the bumper I to a black whole. VW Golf MK2 speedometer stucks at 160km/h. Sometimes the wheel doesn't disappear in dashboard view. If you have man vinyl groups saved (and I have a lot as a replica painter) the mini preview photo by clicking through the vinyl groups isn't loading anymore. Most of the race cars have many parts you can choose to paint on for the basic body colour change but nothing happens (most likely mirrors and spoilers). If your car is base colour chrome the paint job turns matte on it. Same for base colour carbon but here the paint job turn metallic for some reason. If you change fast between engine swaps the game loads the wrong sound file. Saved replays of online races don't work. On the Cayman GTS the race cage removes the cars body shape in cockpit view. Many matte plastic parts on older cars reflect like they were glossy. The driving assist with supported steering wheel doesn't work if you plug in a steering wheel in the console. Saw a game clip at night time where the car's headlights were on but they haven't light up the track (don't remember the car model sadly). And the list is so much longer if you start to look on 3d model issues for missing parts, miscoloured parts, removed details etc of cars now which haven't had these issues in FM7 or FH5.
And Motorsport has a lot and I mean a lot of catching up to in order to have a chance of competing with Forza Horizon 5. The concept of Forzavista is gone and now it's just "view car". In Forzavista mode the camera is very fast pased and there for doesn't move smoothly, when you get inside the car you can't start it up and listen to it, the car sounds have been recycled from previous titles even as far as the door sounds, there's no driving features such as the ability to change from road mode to track mode, no convertable option, no anti-lag and launch control and you can't change the sound of your car anymore. Turn 10 focused so much time on updating physics, graphics and online access that they failed to notice how far behind of Horizon they fell. So turn 10 devs if you're watching this video and you happen to see this comment you have alot of catching up do.
its not ment to compete with horizon and never will it dosent haVE THE MAINSTREAM APPEAL . more people wanna play horizon because its a open world game it isnt just a racing gaME MOTORSPORT IS JUST RACING ON TRACKS WHICH I PERSONALLY ENJOY BUT I UNDERSTAND THE MAJORITY WOULD RATHER PLAY HORIZON THIS WONT CHANGE ATTENTION SPANS ARE GETTING SHORTER TRACK RACING TAKES MORE MATURITY AND A ATTENTION SPAN TO TRULY BE ENJOYED UNLIKE A OPEN WORLD GAME WHERE U CAN GO AROUND HITTING UNREALISTIC JUMPS DRIFT INTO A HUGE FEILD WEAVE THROUGH TRAFFIC THATS A ADHD PARADISE

I didn’t know the 22b was remodeled, that’s a nice surprise! I’m thoroughly enjoying the game, but it is a shame that some car models still look wonky. I think some cars like the R32 GTR looks much better than in FH5 with the new textures, but obviously the model itself still looks bad.
@@Kev27RSThe Mk4 R32 is weird, because they took the time to remodel the front properly when FM5 came out, but left the rest of the car exactly the same.
Nope, doesn’t bother me. I wish Polyphony took a leaf out of Forza’s book and recycled the car models from GT4, some of which they recycled for GT5 and 6. Count yourself lucky Forza does it. If it meant I could enjoy getting to drive my favourite car again I’d take a lower quality model. Quantity over quality will always be my motto for a racing game. Sorry you don’t like my opinion :(
Even if they are a troll it doesn’t bother me. We as fans put too much pressure on developers to develop realistic games. They are games at the end of the day, I want to play games to escape realism haha
They love updating the exotics that nobody cares about. But they pay absolutely no attention to cult classic and affordable cars, which I feel like are the ones people want to upgrade and play the most.
What's the problem here? No one complained anywhere near as loudly when GT5 and GT6 reused the abysmal GT3/4/GTPSP models, lied about updating more cars to premium status in GT5 (it only happened for 1 DLC car) and only did the bare minimum post-launch (just textures more often than not) for GT6. The old Forza models still look high quality enough.

1:48 no, technology was NOT that far behind in 2005, EA was laser scanning cars for NFS as far back as 2003, and before Forza Xbox had Project Gotham Racing from 2001 to 2009. Why it took so long for them to scan cars is beyond me.
The Evo VI from the trailer still baffles me. Why would you make a trailer for a new upcoming game and make the camera zoom in on an extremely outdated car model like it's a feature? I was expecting this to build up towards something, but it seems like it went nowhere. Maybe a future update will come with a new car model.. hopefully.
Anyone else noticed that at some point the front bumper of the AE86 lost its two tone? It was there in the earlier games and completely missing nowadays
Finally, someone has noticed the Vw golf r32 rear end completely wrong and front end And I know it’s not in this game yet, but the Mk5 GTI is completely wrong
As an 86 lover, the fact that that AE86 is NOT NEARLY as dynamic looking as it is in real life is a big hit. BUT THE 22B FINALLY GOT REMODELED.

Some of that may have come down to ease of access. The Spec R S15 wasn't exactly common in the US when the car was first added to the game and they may not have had a way to scan it. But, nearly two decades later is long enough that they should have scanned one by now.

Test Drive Unlimited was so insanely ahead of its time
As someone who primarily plays Gran Turismo, I wouldn't mind at all if they reused some models from GT6 in GT7.
Community: "This is 2023! Why are y'all using models from 20 years ago??"
Devs: **Steve James meme**
Cant wait to play this game, looks like a fun game
I really hate saying this but this franchise has to go with dignity. There's just no hope left whatsoever.
True
They also need to fix some car sounds, especially the rotary’s.
Seems like the first update made huge improvements with the upgrade system, most upgrades are unlocked around level 20-25 instead of 40
still wish there was an option to pay cash for parts. having to grind for xp and do pointless practice sessions because my car isn't fast enough is kinda stupid. i understand the sentiment but it just makes it not as fun to play
Glad I canceled my preorder, it’s pretty sad how bad the headlights look on pretty much every car in the new game. I hope the game gets better as the game moves on but until then they are down 100 bucks, not a big loss by any standard but I’m sure there are many like me
The only way they will do something is if they start to see it hurting them
You canceled your preorder due to headlights?
😂😂😂
Most annoying of all is the stupid modified wing they’ve chosen to continue to use. Would it really be so hard to update that one thing?
Bc the Crew 3 didn’t promise uncompromising quality.
What bugs have you experienced :/ I havent had a issue at all yet lol
Here a few:
You can't change the colour for most of the stock rims and many aftermarket rims because most of the time they stay silver or have a really weird silverish-touch in the colour you choose.
And the list is so much longer if you start to look on 3d model issues for missing parts, miscoloured parts, removed details etc of cars now which haven't had these issues in FM7 or FH5.
reminds me of GT6 when half the car list was upscaled PS2 models😂
That's more so GT5, GT6 did a better job of having car models remodeled, but there was still some PS2 models without interiors.
There are new portable laser scanners to 3D. I have not heard any new ways the make tracks and cars since Forza Motorsport 5.
@@jasonanderson5034 all though Horizon is a spin off to Motorsport there for whatever cars and features Horizon has Motorsport should also have and visa versa. The balance of power between has been fairly equal with the scales going a little more towards Horizon, now the scales are right down toward horizon and it shouldn't be that way it should be fairly equal.
It’s not the same game. This is a pure racing game which isn’t meant to have those features. Fh5 is made to customize more then racing duh learn the difference between forza and forza horizon games
@@SIMRIG412 but yet Horizon is a spin off of Motorsport so it would make sense for whatever Horizon has Motorsport should have and visa versa otherwise what's with the hype about Motorsport when Horizon is a better alternative? If they're not meant to share features then Motorsport would have died years ago, the novelty would wear off and would have died ages ago. Make sense? See where I'm coming from?
There is also no auction house 😑
Good
Seriously? A staple of the forza series? I barely use it in Horizon 5 but it's good for those who want to buy expensive cars cheaper
@tre3612 yea rlly, now randoms cant sell 400k cars for 20mill
@tre3612 IT IS FULLY RELEASED IF U CAN PAY 100 DOLLARS OR WHATEVER AND PLAY THE GAME. THE OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE JUST SERVES AS A PESUSDO RELEASE. SO THEY CAN UPSELL EARLY ACESS .
@@MJMoonwalker332 Yeah, It sucks.I made Most of my money in FH5 in the auction house. Im sure there will be rare seasonal forzathon cars you will not be able to get is you miss your chance
I didn’t know the 22b was remodeled, that’s a nice surprise! I’m thoroughly enjoying the game, but it is a shame that some car models still look wonky. I think some cars like the R32 GTR looks much better than in FH5 with the new textures, but obviously the model itself still looks bad.
yall happy about one car they had 6yrs to do the whole game CTFU! people cant be this slow!
The Golf R32 mk4 is one of the worst looking ones!
Especially the rear…
@@Kev27RSThe Mk4 R32 is weird, because they took the time to remodel the front properly when FM5 came out, but left the rest of the car exactly the same.
@@toypop96 Such a mess…
Heh. "built from the ground up"
At this point, this should be a meme.
"I don't expect every car to be remodeled all the time"
Gran Turismo: *Allow me to introduce myself*
If recycled models means more cars then it’s a small price to pay. Have to sacrifice something and if it’s quality I can live with that.
Not when theyre 20 years old cmon..
Sorry you don’t like my opinion :(
@@solsticecitythis is obviously a troll
Even if they are a troll it doesn’t bother me.
We as fans put too much pressure on developers to develop realistic games. They are games at the end of the day, I want to play games to escape realism haha
@@solsticecity yep troll confirmed
They love updating the exotics that nobody cares about. But they pay absolutely no attention to cult classic and affordable cars, which I feel like are the ones people want to upgrade and play the most.
True, but upgrading is no longer any fun in this game, the leveling system ruined it.
Gran Turismo 5: First time?
Fr the newest FM I own is FM4. I still out here playing FM2 lol
It's sad that this is still the case.. btw, the proportions of the AE86 are wrong too, it's not just the headlights.
Its clear its a "live service game" and they will release stuff as DLC packs or update models if and when they make money off the game. If the game flops they will dump it and move development teams onto the next FH game.
Why the people doesn't much like the new motorsport?
Am I the only one who thinks that fm6 is a very good game even though few played it?
lots of people have said their reasons maybe listen to them fm6 was not a good game its a senseless grind the older games werent
Don't worry mate, I'm rate there with you. I enjoyed playing the game, career and dlc career and with what my friends and I would do in multiplayer. Fun times
now we wait another 6 years for plans of an S15 remodeling, and 12 year wait for an actual S15 remodeling 😂
Finally, someone has noticed the Vw golf r32 rear end completely wrong and front end
And I know it’s not in this game yet, but the Mk5 GTI is completely wrong
Microsoft/Xbox did an injustice to the turn10 devs with fm5
the LOD is shockingly low especially for car interiors. The lighting is pretty bad as well. Can't believe this is a 2023 game
I honestly only do the monthly updates in FH5 in hopes that they bring back my dream car, a 1957 Ford Thunderbird
I’m still buying it when get low on sale because it’s a f1 22 situation
As an 86 lover, the fact that that AE86 is NOT NEARLY as dynamic looking as it is in real life is a big hit. BUT THE 22B FINALLY GOT REMODELED. FINALLY SOME HOPE! ❤️❤️😩
Also, in a bigger hit, NO GT 86 OR GR 86 DESPITE THEM BEING IN FH5 AND FM7?! 🙃🙃🙃 I know the BRZs are in there, but the 86 has sweeter drifting and therefore this is not a replacement. Most of the car models are reused from FM7 in anyway, WHY couldn't they just put them in the game? 😂
But to be clear, outside of the outdated car models, lack of some cars in the roster and always online requirements, this looks like a great game in anyway :)
Quality goes down price goes up
The rear-view mirror looks better quality on Forza Motorsport 4 then it does in this game hopefully that's just a bug.
There still issues with the headlights and taillights on a lot of the cars. Overall some good improvements.
its really funny to see how this game series was GOAT and ate whole PS3 Gran Turismo's
and now it became vice versa like karma's back
also i would call it Game Pass issue
Having driven all 600 plus cars on every track in 4. I miss mount fujimi kaido
