Every good Spider-Man game allows you to play as Peter Parker without consequences of your identity being discovered due to people just now caring since there is so many mutants in the marvel universe that they just don’t pay attention anymore unless their in a flashy costume
Thats not the reason why would ghost spider be a skin then. The reason is they'd have to manually animate his face for every cutscene that only has animations for the spiderman mask

The Sprider-Man 2 In the video Is the PC version. It was horrible. No free Webswinging, really stiff and janky Combat, Puzzles that a 2 year old could solve and overall, a really bad Game. The Game You played was the Console version that released on the Xbox/PlayStation 2/GameCube. :) I had the Xbox version. Everyone should forget the PC Game exists.
