Omg it won't be banned for people to buy. There is no banned books just ones that are not elementary school age appropriate may not be available in a elementary school library. I also don't get or understand this stereotyping of people who live in the south. Atlanta is one of the biggest cities for gay black men in the country so how does that fit their stereotyping.

But there sure is banning of comments; witness how few made it past the censors here. In the name of fighting an illiberal, intolerant, unkind, and utterly regressive movement, I'll try again. Internalized se*xism, internalized ho*homophobia, and au*togynephilic gaslighting as from JFB here are all very real and pervasive phenomena. Young people, including children, and those with neurodivergence or mental health challenges, need to be told the truth about the damage wrong sex, off-label, synthetic hormones and anabolic steroids cause otherwise healthy bodies. This book does exactly the opposite, especially through the character of Lily.
