Spotlight on HEALS (Hearing Ear health Language and Speech Services)

On 9 January this year, more than 20 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children underwent surgery to improve their hearing as part of a program coordinated by HEALS (Hearing Ear health Language and Speech Services). HEALS is an NSW Health initiative providing ENT and speech-language pathology services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
