Cheers Luke! Quick one, you don't need a SHT folder as its all based off the airline in the aircraft.cfg. But if you want SHT specific announcements, you can use the tag system. So keep the announcements in BAW (or any other folder but in this scenario, BAW would make sense), then at the end of a SHT specific announcement, add [SHT] and as long as SHT is entered as a callsign in the INIT A, it will use it. Same would apply if you had easyJet Europe announcements and EJU was used, etc.
Another fantastic video and tutorial 👌 I think there are issues with it as it worked near perfect to Edingburgh from Bristol but the crew seemed to have gone on strike from Edingburgh To Hurghada😅 none the less I know the tutorial worked so hopefully the issues get ironed out because it definitely added the immersion for me

Great video as always, I've been trying to get this to work ever since i bought this aircraft a week ago. I still can not get the announcements to come through even after following step by step, if i press the PA button nothing happens ( does not light up or push down..)🤔
I’ve been having nothing but problems with these announcements. Did everything exactly as per your video and either I don’t hear my Custom announcements or I heard the default ones at the start of the gate then they all of a sudden stop completely. Numerous people are reporting the same and there appears to be numerous bugs with this system. Thank you for taking the time to do the video though! Hopefully Fenix fix the system with a patch!
Same but then I took the announcements out of the (default) folder and made a new one called (announcements)and I placed them in there, also another one for custom announcements and it works just fine for me now.
Nice video. But something's wrong with me. My cabin announcements , boarding music,ArmDoors... are all normal, but there is no sound after CrewSeatsTakeoff . Do i need to something else?
Luke just a small point.. When doing demos I would find it easier if you use full size screen when showing paths on the PC as I am pretty dumb, so I can see what you are doing and also I find a lot of demonstrators fly their demo at night so difficult to see what they are showing you sometimes especially if using a mouse fast. ... But I so appreciate what you are doing helped me a lot.

If your announcements are not working you may follow these: 1- Make sure that the sounds are .ogg mine were not at the first because i think i downloaded a wrong one for my Turkish Airlines sounds, you can right click on the sound -> properties -> type of file should be ogg. 2- Your .ogg sounds may not work, crash, hang forever to do any process on them. Go to app and features, type in ''Web Media Extensions'' and uninstall it then restart your PC. It should work.
Already subscribed, love your channel, another informative tutorial. I have just purchased the Fenix A320 and currently trying to configure rudder pedals to control rudder and tiller using PED DISC and Pedal Pull (hidden click spot) as per Fenix V2B2 Quick Start Guide. I don't know if you take requests but I cannot find an up-to-date video showing correct setup and use of this new function. I have mapped the PED DISC and Pedal Pull click spots to physical push buttons but do not fully understand how to interact with these during different phases of a flight i.e. taxi, line-up and take-off, landing (guide talks about auto-disconnect >45 knots, FLX, TOGA)... read the article many times but still all a bit confusing. I think a video done by someone such as yourself would be very useful and very much appreciated. Smashing the 'Like' button (#600)

Hi Luke, nice video loved it, I just have two small problems.. first I got the sound pack etc but for the livery on the livery manager it doesn't work. I downloaded the liveries I wanted, I can't seem to find them on my simulator when I load in (im on Pc using the xbox app). second on my community folder, when I click on the 'fnx liveries 320' I don't have a folder names sim objets. if you could try and help or give any advice it would be amazing thanks!
What i have observed is that fenix hasn't integrated that pa announcement which we can do 😅.. like using your mic and doing the pa announcement.😜😅.. like Fslabs
Sadly no, it's stimulated as if it's coming from your pilots headset as I understand it They missed a trick with it really - when you look at JustFlight and their amazing F28 that has cabin speakers and a cabin PA system which is audible everywhere in comparison

As explained it was only there as an example of how airlines use more than one callsign and if a livery creator makes a callsign with one choice but you fly the other the announcement might not work
Anyone else notice that when the EFW aircraft config was open, under ATC callsign it states Speedbird, rather than Griffin. Im assuming we just swap that to get the correct callsign?
My announcements work, but only in the cockpit with the PA button pressed. Nothing in the cabin. But my FNX announcements folder is actually in the FNX a320 folder. That’s the only difference

Yeah it's not designed to be heard in the cabin from how Fenix have made it thus far (it's not like the JustFlight F28)... Instead this works as if you hear it in your pilots headset and that's it. They missed a trick with it really and hopefully it improves in the future to match JustFlights F28 cabin environment style
If you want to hear the announcements in the cockpit, pull the PA dial on the audio panel. It will illuminate when active. Then you can turn the dial to increase or decrease its volume in the cockpit
I'm wonderin what's up with the airline specific cabins? Fenix have announced and shown them, but I can't find any custom cabins in the official liveries, does anyone know what's going on here?

sounds like you are downloading an illegal package? this is a payware helicopter product which can only be purchased via Miltech's own website (linked) and then downloaded via Contrail... or via Orbx. It is NOT a product downloadable on discord unless you're supporting illegal rips of products and thus not supporting the developer. I hope that is not the case...
@@BritishAvgeekmmm not downloading any helicoptor package at all just went to your linked discord fenix cabin announcement downloads and tried to download them came with error than read some where in the comments all the files that have verified against them are safe to download so went ahead and all is well
some if not all people just do not have the time or patience for all these addons . i used to be able to set up a flight in half an hour, now it it takes at least an hour to set up and apply different apps etc, connect to atc. the last thing i need at the moment is more grief with bloody cabin announcements. and messing about with more complicated and frankly useless crap filling up my computer as there are plenty of bugs with teh aircraft bat the moment without adding more fuel
I somewhat disagree, things like this is a set and forget. Get your announcements installed and set up, you won’t really have to touch them again. Connecting to vatsim is about 3 clicks and then you just load into the aircraft?

it's an ongoing issue with however fenix have done the cabin announcements - it seems inconsistent and lots are having this issue.

You need to follow the steps in the instructions to set the folder up as I showed in the video

Good spot - that's a livery creation error there. If you use the in-sim ATC you can change that to Griffin to get it to be right for that purpose 😄

No - sadly... The way they've simulated it is as if you're hearing it through your headset in the flight deck

Not every livery has them yet. But try the easy jet livery, this got a fully customized cabin.

Hi! Because Fenix simulate the sound as if it is coming through a pilots headset instead of it being in "cabin speakers etc" 🙂

Too complicated? You literally just have to create two folder within the community folder and then just drop in the announcements.
Now we need somebody to create a program to do all of this in one click...
