i think your prop was spinning backwards at the end
@@WT-KANIBAL it was.. I had to flip the polarity. Correct rotation now. Good catch.
@@MilitaryVehicleReviews thanks😁
Quit flaunting your money, Zach... 😂
I think we need to get our money up😂😂
Did you know that the prop is running backwards , if the engine was on a plane, the plane would be flying backwards😊
lol
Prop spinning in wrong direction… I once saw a J-3 Piper bush plane with an electric motor that rotated the prop hanging from the ceiling at Cabelas. Only problem was the propeller was installed backwards.
WHOAAAAAA
Lemme know when the do Pratt&Whitney RE-2800!!!! I WILL SELL MY HOUSE FOR ONE!!!!
WOW, this is probably the most detailed kit you've ever shown. Obviously it would present a very nice display for an aviators man cave. One caveat, years ago I saw a similar kit for an automobile engine so I ordered one. What I received was a block of one piece of plaster hand painted worth about 50 cents. Long story short I got my money back , however, I've never bought one of these kind of assembly kits zgain So I'm super sensitive on ever ordering one unless I can see it on a shelf at a model store. I know you so I'd feel safe, but the Pacific Rim countries are masters at RUclips rip offs. No offense, ya know I've always thought highly of your access to great models.
I agree, super detailed and feels hefty. This really is a good model and fun build. I’m putting it with my plane displays. Thanks for watching my videos! 🙏💯
This engine seems to be a 2stroke
Where do you get these toys from? I’m desperate I really want some to start the collection like you thank you. Will you please respond please respond I have been waiting for a response but please thank you and thank you again.
The version of a radial engine of an SBD Dauntless plane is very interesting. Very well detailed the engine and the parts that compose it to the engine. And congratulations for showing the assembly of the engine and how it works after putting it together. Excellent video.
super sweet
22:42 was the prop spinning backwards?
Where do you get these toys from?
Why is it $500? It's still cool
Nice! Kit is out of my price range 😞 Looked like the prop was spinning backwards. Great Job! 🙂
Yup! I switched the polarity and it's rotating correctly now.
🤩🤩🤩
Turning wrong direction . but still cool 🙃
Ya, I switched the polarity of the wires and it rotates correctly now. 👍
Pretty awsome the only thing the engine is spinning the wrong way. Most engines spin counterclockwise
I love your RUclips channel
Thank you! 💯🙏
Very nice and impressive project!!!! BUT, BUT BUT .... the prop is turning the WRONG direction !!!!!
Yup! I ended up re-soldering the leads on the motor to have it rotate correctly. Was super easy.
Very cool! But your prop might be on backwards - give it a check. 👍🏻
It was 😂. Good catch. 💯
@@MilitaryVehicleReviews Actually, the battery polarity is backwards. The propeller should rotate counter-clockwise when viewed from the front. The propeller pitch is facing the correct direction.
@@tjh44961 You were right. I ended up switching the leads and re soldering them back on. Now it rotates counter clockwise (looking at the engine) correctly 👍💯. Also the prop is on the correct way now. 😂
It shows how the engine works... great.
hola Y acá estamos... me gustó el video saludo:
🤜🤛👍👊💪👌
Muchas Gracias ! 🙏💯
So it's not a working engine...it's a very nice moving model, that's cool..I'd love to build it, as I'm a huge radial fan...that didn't come out right but you know what I mean(lol). As for single engine props, While I appreciate the dauntless, I'm a Corsair, Bearcat and T-28B guy...the Dauntless and T-28B used the same base Wright R-1820 9cyl.
You need to use OIL for assembly, or assembly lube. I would not use that water-thin Teflon "lube" for this. And ANY rotating parts MUST be pre-lubed!!
You should consider picking up a 3 bladed RC airplane prop for a more realistic presentation...because that prop is butt-ugly, and the dauntless used a 3 bladed prop.
Flip the prop over. The prop wash should be blowing back over the cylinder jugs.
I’m pretty sure it’s going backwards
I'm sorry but this is not by any stretch of the imagination a WORKING engine, a nice demonstration piece though
Very good review, much like all of your reviews. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Appreciate it!! 💯👍🙏
How to make your children a future engineer. Scrap lego, get an engine kit. 2023-
Awesome
Reminds me of the pain i got from building lego technic (the happy pain)
Be careful and only "hand tighten" the spark plugs. Do not tighten too much (that is) with a wrench, as they will break very easily. Also be very adept to the right choice of bearings. There are 7 total. 5 of them look just alike, but they are not. One is slightly larger and barely noticeable. This video is very nicely done. It is not like the Kota video of the "same" model. Some of their parts differ slightly. Have fun! I own five of these Teching kits and arranged them all on the top of my computer desk. Then I turn them all on while listening to "Darkest Child" in surround sound while I watch them do their thing. lol
Thanks for the heads up and for watching! 💯👍 and thats awesome 😂
man i really want to get one , but the price tag of 500$ is a little much for me right now.
It hurt me to see the con rod smacking the piston but i still like the video and also a huge dauntless fan
Beautiful, expensive and stupid TOY.
That's not working, that's a moving radial engine
Its a nice kit but i klicked for a "working" radial engine
not gonna lie... i was a tad disappointed by the speed of the props
You should build your models and not buy them prebuilt
I know its a detailed model but $747 Aud 🤐
Try to change polarity to the battery/motor, it runs the wrong way. Prop should run clockwise, the electric motor runs the wrong way.
Put the GAS ⛽⛽ not the electricity 🔌🔌😢😢
Interesting stuff ..liked and subscribed Sir
Thanks and welcome!
Nice ,on bucket list ,thanks 👍👍
@MilitaryVehicleReviews >>> Just found your channel. Subbed.
How do you get all of these plans
😮
I thought this was an actual engine 😐
"working radial engine"? Ehhhhhhhhh.
either this is a pusher type, the prop is on backwards, or the motor spins the wrong way.
Yup, prop was spinning the wrong way. I switched the polarity on the motor and its spinning correctly now. Good catch 👍
This is interesting
Stirling engine? Battery? 😆
My grandpa use to build scale size engines for RC airplanes in his shop as a hobby.
$500!!!!!!! Nah I'll stick to the video thanks 😂
Ya its too pricey in my opinion
Professional
Really impressive 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🙏💯
I want to say that $500 is a tad steep, but man this is a well made kit. They also make a turbofan engine as well.
Hey dude I know that these are your precious aircraft models but could you respond to this so we could get in touch so you can give me some prices on those 21st. Century toy ww2 1/18 scale aircraft
Cool build . A wooden rc propeller would look much better on there.
But will it fly?
Really impressive . Magnifico .
Pretty neat
有中文,中国制造?
Very cool
Loll😂😂😂😅
That is not a working radial engine...it's just a model with an electric engine
How is it possible that you're the only person in the commesnts to point this out?
@@obiwankebabi2062 I donnu...your name makes me hungry
I would say its working just like I would say an RC model works 🤷♂️. I do see your point though.
Amazing
Buenas tardes en donde los venden para Colombia
Hey! I’m not sure. Thank you for watching though!
I've seen this for the first time, the details never fail to amaze, btw, I had a question from one of your previous videos, you made a review video on the elite force f4u Corsair model, it had a pilot in it as well, Just wanted to know that can you take off the helmet from the pilot's head?
Yes you can remove the helmet of that pilot
@@MilitaryVehicleReviews 👍
early sherman tanks had aircraft radials in them
Yup! I reviewed a Forces of Valor Sherman with a Radial Engine. Awesome model!
Heres the video: Radial Engine Sherman is near the end. ruclips.net/video/-BbM8w7bp6U/видео.html
Great video
Prop rotates in wrong direction!
Yup! Good catch. I changed the polarity of the wires and its correct now.
@@MilitaryVehicleReviews Great! Enjoyed the video!
@@SLJ2137694thank you! 💯👍
I wish it was gas powered
There are companies that make working gas powered radial engines for RC planes, but they cost a lot of money. A 7 cylinder radial engine was over $1000.
That would be awesome. I may build a gas powered one too 💯
Magnifico ✅✅✅
Could be like models ive purchased with oil and its leaked for various reasons during shipping. So maybe they've removed it due to other customer complaints.
Yup, I reached out to them and they said the same.
$500. Hmm...
Ya.. should be cheaper.
