Beautiful old hymn! Well over a century old! Thx for sharing this comforting old song that has blessed many over the decades. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Just like Titanic, when it sunk 108 years ago, before it got sunk, Brittish violinist Wallace Hartley and his string quartet played the song before they and 1,500 others had their bravely lives ended. I have also played it with one of my friends who does classical at the nursing homes, in dedication to the lives who lost on the cold atlantic ocean.

Yesterday I woke up with this hymn in my language. I couldn’t sing it all through, I ran out of words do I came on you tube, I listened to a number of versions, my soul wasn’t getting satisfied. This morning Iam sting in the same drought that needs to drink from the well of this hymn.

Enjoying listening to the hyms, live in Australia. My mothers family were Methodists, from what I gather they always sang hyms. Maybe that is why I like listening /singing hyms. Last year we could not have church services because of covid. Thank you very much, Rosemary.

Oh dear Rosemary, this is a hymn that I have not heard in an extremely long time as my church is non-denominational with younger parishioners. @@RosemarySiemens a note on our daughter who's been in hospital since December 16th. We were informed this week that she has more csncer.cancer. When they did CT a week ago Friday. It shows cancer on her lower right lobe.
