ive aready hit a air dash into pot buster on my brother so ive aready got the dashing thing down also by airdash i mean j.66rc canceled into j.p and pot buster upon landing
If I were to take a guess probably the issue is properly spacing garauda so after it hits on the opppnent’s block pot is close enough to keep the strike throw pressure up with a c.s.
According to the dustloop wiki for Potemkin, a 360P (SPD) motion for PB is also an acceptable input. Similarly to other 360 grapplers like Zangief and Iron Tager, you dont need the full rotation to input the grab, though. A 270 like this will also give PB. As for why, I think it just has to do with how the game determines what a 360 is, but idk for certain.
@elmersenjoyer That I can help with! GGST seems to work like BBCF when it comes to 360 inputs, that being that it requires you to hit all directions for a 360, and NOT a full rotation. This means exactly that 6248 is an acceptable input for a 360, but 6247 is not. 3179 is also acceptable. So you can do a standing 360 via just starting at 6, or 4, and rotating the long way to 8 and it'll count a 360 and give pot buster. So 8426 counts. Works for down with the system too to do it standing!
I’m a couple months late but looking at the numbers and considering that 632146 k-p is the standard Kara buster input, I believe the numbers refer to that position if we pretend the joystick was a number pad. I.e. 1 is bottom left, 4 is mid left, and 6 is mid right
Is there any way to re-map jump from up on the left stick when playing on console? That'd help tremendously but it seems like it's only available on PC
I can only speak with certainty for PC, but there should be a way to rebind jump on console as well, if that's what you want. Despite playing on PC, I do play on a controller though, so it is possible to consistently perform the motion with either dpad or joystick after some practice.
I phrased it poorly in the video, but neither regular PB nor mkcrowalk PB is reactable. By less telegraphed, I should have said it is possible to threaten it faster and at further ranges where the opponent would feel comfortable just blocking.
so generally doing kara pot buster makes the startup either stay 5 or increase to 6 frames if u late cancel? nobody seems to have a clear answer to this
I looked in the Pot discord and believe I have an answer: raw karas done in neutral will add 1-2 frames of startup. Karas buffered from a normal during hitstop, however, can add 0-2 frames of startup.
Assuming the buster after garuda is done perfectly, neither mashing nor DP will work. The escape options are jumping, backdashing, or using a fully invul reversal.
While you can technically microwalk those specials, the window is tight and the added benefit of doing so is minute. The 360 input for PB is unique because of the extremely large window to input the move and the very noticeable difference when doing so.
What do you mean by find Zangief? If you're referring to the background music, it is Zangief's SFIV theme, but everything else is pretty much Potemkin.
The traditional (in-game) input for buster is half circle back, then forward + P. However, the dustloop page for Potemkin says that a 360/SPD input also works. The buster FAB performs in this video takes advantage of the SPD input by hitting all four directions necessary to perform it (8426) while also microwalking forward and kara canceling it.
@@elmersenjoyerI agree with you but I think the reason why is because going from 4 to 6 takes a lot of time on stick, and the motion of just doing up > half circle forward feels way more intuitive for the microwalk. (I don't know if you use stick or not, I use leverless for reference, I'm gonna practice this when I get home)
The up portion of the input is started while you are still in recovery from another move and unable to jump. By the time recovery ends, you should no longer be holding an upward direction (8 or 7), so you only get the walk forward. As a result, you can't use this specific input raw or in neutral (though there is another, harder way to do it, which does allow this).
December 23 2025. We will be waiting.
It is with great pleasure that I would like to inform everyone: WE ARE SO BACK!
I can't stop laughing after hearing the brief "ARMORED CLAD FAIIIIITHHH" every Buster.
Oh no.
Pot bros discovered walking
Just wait until we discover dashing
ive aready hit a air dash into pot buster on my brother so ive aready got the dashing thing down
also by airdash i mean j.66rc canceled into j.p and pot buster upon landing
The glue is strong in this one.
Potbros are eating well tonight. Thank you brother.
even with the removal of kara cancel this still works like a charm
The microwalk is definitely still useful for that extra bit of range. I just miss the kara distance.
New fear unlocked:
I'm shocked that I've never heard of this and I have hundreds of hours on Potemkin.
Don't think I've dived to my controller so fast in a long time!
Excellent video! Subbed with force!
pfft, not anymore
Im gonna cry its gone.
The microwalk should still be possible, just no longer kara-able when the patch drops :(
@elmersenjoyer stay with me! Don't leave me!!! *Pot holding onto kara inputs like the Batman meme*
WE'RE SO BACK
@@T1M3L3SS_ WE ARE FUCKING BAAAACKKKK
I just picked up Pot to mess around with but man this glue is tasting real good rn.
This time it's MY turn on the braincell
Oh that's the tech we used to use as Necalli
Now I'm curious. How does it work for Necalli (I'm assuming from SFV)?
Thank you for this beautiful tech
FAB is the goat.
@@elmersenjoyer he is, I really gotta keep an eye on what hes cooking
I think this also has an added benefit of being a much easier input as least in my opinion. It has much more to do with timing than execution.
When the Pot mains find the premium industrial glue:
we calling it the fab-tech
yes you have to say it as one word
We eatin paint chips like popcorn today boys
thank you, this is very cool
Learning hitbox and I finally feel like I can attempt these types of tech!!! Excellent video!
i feel so bad for chipp cause i was fixing my 3 key and so i had to hold it down and uhhh, well you try it out lol.
Took me a while to get this, but boy did it feel nice
I love how you just hear, “ARMOR CLAD OF FAI-“ and it gets cut off on the pot bust xD
ARMOR CLAD FAAAAAAITH
Oh great, yet another reason to fear Pot
Can you make a video about garuda pressure and how to get c.S?
I could try making a basic video sharing what I know about Garuda if you want. What exactly do you mean by "how to get c.S" though?
If I were to take a guess probably the issue is properly spacing garauda so after it hits on the opppnent’s block pot is close enough to keep the strike throw pressure up with a c.s.
Ah, if that's the case, I could work on something
@@elmersenjoyer That would be mad helpful
What a terrible time for RUclips to reccomended this LMAO
The microwalk is still handy for extra range. It's just no longer kara-able for insane distance.
Probably a dumb question but how do u get the frame data on the bottom of the screen? Is it in the settings or a mod?
No worries. It's a mod, and the gamebanana link is in the description!
that pot mod skin is sick
oh dear christ i'm going to get pot busted out of celestial challenge arent i
Delete this bro -a Potemkin player I promise
Can't wait to use this combo😊 (i dont have guilty gear)
how does this input register as a pb?
nvm just looked it up, this is sick
So how does it work?

Neat, thanks for the info!
can you still kara cancel the garuda impact because i just cant do it anymore
Pot can still kara cancel all his special moves and supers for the forward momentum.
@elmersenjoyer yeah it took me a while but i did it finally. Im definetly going to try this method because its so hard to pull off consistently
idk what those numbers and letters mean, obviously inputs of somekind. You must of eaten a lot of glue sticks.
