I know you mentioned the quality of sound isn't bad for a $15-20 device but what would you rate the sound quality from 1-10? In comparison to the regular sound that some out of that radio/speakers. Is there any distortion or static interference??

I know I’m coming to this a bit late but those blue clips should never be used in a car, they are notoriously unreliable, can end up cutting thru’ the wires, leading to blown fuses, or fires 🔥. either cut the wires and and join with chocolate block connectors, or make proper connections using solder! I have just bout my Merc and although I have bought an aftermarket unit and will be keeping the original so I can go back to stock, I would never use Scotchlock connectors. But a thumbs up from me for showing how to remove the stereo 👍

Why wouldn't you use the cigarette lighter for power? Since it's off when the car is off, you won't have issues with the battery draining. Don't underestimate a small vampiric load, especially if you you have to leave the car sitting for over a week. The last thing you want after a long vacation is for your car to not start.
