    These tracks and promoters must have the right fire fighting equipment available at the track. Purple K extinguishers are a must for this type of fire. Thanks to everyone who helped get Angelique's car rolling after the accident, and congratulations to Tanner. He had them covered. Prayers to Angelique and all involved.

    Watched the original video that you posted and was shocked how unprepared the track was with fire fighting equipment. Watching them use regular extinguishers on the ethanol was a joke. All they did was make the fire worse. Should be using a foam extinguisher. Prayers to the young lady and hope for speedy recovery. Great to see Dominic Selzi and Carly Holmes helping get the car assembled and movable. Shame on the track for not being prepared for an event like this. It could have been much worse. I really wanted to see what Justin Sanders had for Tanner Holmes. Also hats off to Dominic Selzi for putting his family first, when they were evaluating if they were going to continues to race without the proper fire gear for the rest of the event.

      @@kimifan06 I think it was removed because of the sensitive nature of the video and the poor excuse of unprepared track fire suppression. The young lady suffered lung damage from the fire and took a long time to get her removed from the car.

      In poor taste to put out a video when someone is injured. I know I used to video races.
      This video is just right for content.

    This should of been a cool celebration for Tanner Holmes first career 410 win. However, it was overshadowed by the unfortunate incident by Angelique Bell. Still prayers that she make a full recover and get back to track when possible.
    Also wonder if Narc requires fire suppression system or the sprayer thing promoted by Kevin Thomas Jr, both would of buy time to prevent burns (in addition to having Purple K Extinguishers) trying to critiqued NARC since I am not familiar with their rules, but I def hope they can address these situation In the future.

    Doug Wolfgang took a lot of sh#t for suing everyone over his fire. Here we are decades later and still there are tracks without foam to put out alcohol fires or fire suits to save drivers.
    lawyers can drive race tracks out of business. So can insurance companies when they raise their rates. Track and Narc have no excuses.
    Thanks CDV

    Jim Allen shouldn't have accepted the conditions of the facilities. Drivers shouldn't either but if NARC says no racing, then drivers don't have a choice. No ambulance/EMT's on site is careless

    • @glenchapman3899
      @glenchapman3899 6 месяцев назад +6

      Yeah at my home track. if the on site ambulance had to be used. They would suspend racing until another ambulance could dispatched to the track

    • @melabshier5812
      @melabshier5812 6 месяцев назад +1

      They had an Ambulance it was in the shot when the wreck happened. Any racing requires one. What happens then is another ambulance is called in to either transport the patient to the hospital or replace the existing Ambulance.
      I was at Skagit when there was a bad wreck. The driver had to go to the hospital. The track ambulance drove the patient out of the track to the parking lot. Then transferred the patient to another Ambulance which took him to the hospital. The original Ambulance then drove back to the infield. Then when the Ambulance made it back, the racing resumed. Saw it all from the top row of Section B.

      The side of the “ambulance” at the track this year says something like “black rock city emergency services”. I’m not sure if this is an actual ambulance to transport to a hospital or to stabilize a patient (driver). In years past there has been either Mercy Flights or AMR, both are legit EMS companies in Medford/Grants Pass. By calling 911 I’m assuming that was to get Mercy Flights enroute to transport her to the hospital.
      Searching black rock city EMS on google brings up burning man festival from Nevada.

      @@sprintcarsandguitars959 Yes we were there and there was a ambulance on site but no fire truck, but they called for a ambulance from the hospital rather than using the one at the track.
