Luhmi and Time2Shine Aluminum Hand Polish Breakdown

- The difference between Luhmi and Time2Shine aluminum polish is night and day. Luhmi is a heavy abrasive polish that makes quick work of the tough hard to reach areas and really rough aluminum. The Time2Shine aluminum polish is a show quality maintainer/finishing liquid. Very light abrasive in it helps maintain your high gloss for a long time. I hope this helps sort out some of the confusion and look for more info and videos on these two products in the near future.
Both of these products are available on goshineon.com/shop
This stuff works great! They will help in those hard to reach places like the back of boxes and when you polish a truck with a stack in the way or on the tank end caps that you can't get with the grinder. I recently had a situation where I couldn't jack a truck up because of the lot it was in and the wheels were in decent condition, so I used the Luhmi in combo with the time to shine. The customer was pleased and I was thankful that I didn't have to polish drive wheels without spinning them. These products are well worth your money and they go a long way. Thanks again for all the videos, they really help.
Truly appreciate your support. I am really happy to hear you are liking the products and glad they are working so well for you.
Got the bottle yesterday. The Luhmi is amazing. We got into a reserve apparatus that hadn’t seen polish in years and hit the wheels and bumper. Incredible for a single step hand polish!
We love it too. Thank you for watching.
I know any product I buy from you will be badass because I know that you won’t sell crap products. Thanks for putting in all the work for designing the best products. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I appreciate that!Truly appreciate the kind words. Means a lot. thank you for supporting.
Loving the Luhmi. Been using it on trucks where the aluminum isn't maintained by hand too often. Using the T2S for regular maintenance on everything else.👍👍
Right on, love hearing this. Thank you for the support.
Purchased your product to try it out and since then your products been 110% affective to my Rig....Big Big shout it to man All the way from GUAM..
Much appreciated! Thank you for supporting our products and watching the videos.
The Luhmi is the best when blending tanks. I use the Time2Shine for door handles, wheels etc. Love both products.
Right on. Love hearing great feedback. Thanks for watching.
They both work good. Love the products and the results.
So glad! thank you for the great feedback. Appreciate your support.
Finally talked myself into ordering this kit off ur website works real great in my opinion.
Thank you so much for supporting. Thanks for watching.
Putting my order now
Appreciate that.
I've used the luhmi as a precut on diamond plate that has heavy oxidation on it. Also found that with #0000 steel wool + luhmi + elbow grease will take of tack (asphalt tar).
Yes the citrus in the luhmi will eat the tar and tack if left to sit on it a minute also.
Thanks again for all the great products and advice
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching and supporting.
They both do a great job! Love em!
Love hearing great feedback. Thanks for watching and supporting.
Luhmi is an amazing product!!
I need to pick up some of that T2S show polish.. High gloss is a good thing 😎
It really is! I think you will love how easy it is to use.
I’m a huge fan of luhmi!
My personal favorite method for doing end caps on tanks where I can’t fit a buff.
I personally like to use a wool pad on my DA, then go back over with a foam wax pad and T2S aluminum polish. You can barely tell it wasn’t cut with a buff.
We do the same thing. Glad you like it. Thank you for watching and supporting.
I used the luhmi a couple weeks ago. Great stuff. Live in Oregon and drive logtruck and where in mud and de icer.
That’s awesome. Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
So cool to know you from wisco. Saw your interview from big rig videos. Wondering if you have training seminars? Im in southern wisconsin.
Yes I do! We train people all winter long
An email or website i can contact? Or phone #. Thank you

Hey Evan, In my opinion you have the best RUclips channel for polishing. I'm detailing a 68' shelby gt500kr. I don't polish raw wheels very often and looking for advice. The spinner cast aluminum wheels are in good shape but after cleaning with a ph neutral soap there are some white spots. Any help I would appreciate.
Truly appreciate the kind words. I am unfamiliar with the spinner wheels. Send pics to my cell phone at 9209790386 and I will gladly help you out with any issues I can.
I'd like to buy some of this Luhmi, or both in a polishing kit. When do you expect to have back in stock? Also what do you recommend for removing excess brown buff? Thanks for the videos, have taught me alot about keeping our rigs shining!
We have some LUHMI in stock. Email me Evan@goshineon.com and I will help you.
@@EvanStegerMetalPolishing Okay, I did, any luck?
Hi Evan love and appreciate the videos quick question Batteries have come a long way with power and durability for a driver that wants to get out and polish while at a customer or truck stop have you found any cordless polishers able to produce enough heat to or spin the buff. Thanks again for the informative video’s
I've tried quite a few and nothing that I have found has enough torque to handle a 9" buff yet. The battery holds up fine but not enough torque to do anything more than paint buffing. If I find something you will surely see a video come through my channel. LOL I have been waiting a long time for a cordless buffer.
Have you tried an inverter? Not sure if it would put out enough juice but might be worth a try.
@@robertpotts1105 I have a factory installed 1800 watt inventor but I’m sure I will need a lot more to turn a minimum 3000rpm buff but definitely a good idea thanks I will check into it.
I bought some. Chrome polish detailing an aluminum polish at truck show in lousiville it's great the chrome polish is the best I've ever used an the detailing quick shine the same as is the aluminum polish is great also I will be ordering more when I use this up thanks for a great product. My truck gets mud from job sites that stains the polished aluminum and doesn't come off with a wash the luhmi takes the stains off easy. This stuff is good
So happy to hear that. Thanks for watching and supporting.
Just Bought Both The Luhmi And Time2Shine Can’t Wait To See How The Luhmi Works I Already Use The Time2Shine Works Good On Finishing Up Billet And Forged Wheels 😎
Thanks for purchasing. I really like LUHMI.
I love luhmi.this stuff is amazing
So happy to hear you like it.
From Hollywoods to this!!! Oh man am I happy ❤️😎
Luhmi is great for tight spots then hitting it with time to shine will blend real well with a cut color.
Well said. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I've used both. They work great.
Love hearing great feedback. Thank you for supporting.
Have you ever heard of, or use Metal Armor Precision Metal polish ? This was some really fantastic stuff for stainless and aluminum, it would cut 600 grit surface by just hand pressure and leave a real deep shine without that cloudy hazy look.
Yes I have. LUHMI is a great product.
Wanting to get some luhmi for blending tops of tanks. Interested in trying it
goshineon.com/shop in the metal polishing tab.
Luhmi works great for me!👍
That's great! Glad to hear it.
Bought them both, great polishes.
Thank you for supporting the business, watching the videos and taking time to comment. I appreciate it.
I just purchased a can of Lumhi and I was wondering if terry cloth is better to polish with than micro fibres?
I'll have a video out on this soon. I prefer cotton over microfiber for sure.
I just purchased it…I polish my rims once a year they’re not to bad right now just wondering would that 2 step process with luhmi and time to shine to the job or do you still recommend cut and colour before using it?
I always recommend cutting. But to those that don’t want to cut Luhmi helps a lot.
@@EvanStegerMetalPolishing thanks for the tip I try to cut and colour wherever I can.
Would you recommend any of your products of chrome polish for a motorcycle
We sell an actual chrome polish. It works great on bikes. check out goshineon.com/shop
I have some American force wheels (polished) on my truck with some hazing and some swirl marks, few water spots too. should I use the luhmi first then hit it with the time to shine or should I just use time to shine? Thanks in advance
Depends how cloudy or how rough they are. Most can do it with just the time2shine but some need a little more oomph. If they need a little deeper you will want both steps.
@@EvanStegerMetalPolishing thank you sir I appreciate the reply 👍🏼
I cant seem to find this in canada i really want to try it save me some elbow grease on blending petes with low skirts
Shift products and chrome shop both are distributors of ours in canada. If they don't have it in stock we also ship to canada on our website. goshineon.com/shop
Be nice if we could get luhmi in Canada
we ship to canada on our website goshineon.com/shop and shift products and chrome shop canada both sell luhmi in canada.
They are both awesome
Thank you
Hey Evan do you sell the buffing wheels?
Sure do. Goshineon.Com
I have a side question who does your art work, I’m looking for that style for my logo,
Josh Rowan of Rowan Conceptz. He does amazing work.
Hey Evan how can tell when to replace my airway wheel with a new one
When it stops cutting well or when it is down to the metal. Either way. Replace as often or as little as you want. It is all about personal preference.
Do you know if there is any sellers in Canada of the luhmi?
Shift products and chrome shop canada both carry Luhmi for us.
if i used the luhmi on aluminum that i've already tried to hand polish (its something thats in a rough spot to get a polisher in) does it produce scratches.? you say its a heavy abrasive. what can you equate that to? 1200 grit... 3000 grit.. 80 grit?
LUHMI will take out 600 grit scratches, pressure and producing heat is key. It is more abrasive but it produces more shine opposed to being equivalent to a certain grit of sand paper.
Can you put those pads you sell on a makita da for luhmi use?
You sure can. I recommend the 5" version for that.
Is time 2 shine the same as gords aluminum polish?
I'm biased as I made it. Gord makes a great product. I use mine everyday and prefer it over all others that I have used in my 21 years of polishing. But to each their own.
How do I get the product
goshineon.com
Do you have a kit for a beginner polisher ?
I’m mostly doing 2pc & 3pc wheels
Yes we do. On goshineon.com/shop we sell all kinds of kit from beginner kits to advanced kits. Check it out when you get some free time. Thanks for watching and supporting.
