    I started with the Audien Atom, but they were just to large for my ears. I returned them (which was very easy)and got the Atom Pro that is 20% smaller. I am very happy with them, at 75 I was driving my family nuts with always saying "what?". I found they work great when at a family gathering and the cost was good for me. But you are correct when in a group of people in an outside setting or mall I do get much more outside nose, so sometimes I don't ware then when out in public as that not when I really need them anyway. Enjoyed your video and being an owner of Atom Pro was nice to here what you thought.

    They’re on sale right now for $150 US. However, if they don’t help hearing in crowds or rooms with multiple people such as a dinner party, they wouldn’t benefit me. Those are the conditions I struggle to hear clearly in. Any recommendations for an OTC hearing aid for those situations ? Thanks

    • @hearingaids-Dave
      @hearingaids-Dave  11 месяцев назад

      Hello and thank you for your comment.
      The situations that you’re struggling with are hard for all hearing aids. A low-budget device probably won’t do the job here. However, more expensive hearing aids might have troubles here.
      I recommend hearing aids with directional microphones like Sony CRE E10 or Sennheiser All-Day Clear. They all come with a money-back guarantee if you don’t like them. Maybe you should give them a try.
      Hope that helps!
      Best,
      Dave

    I am having a problem with them falling out of my ear.I need advice on how to insert them!!

    • @hearingaids-Dave
      @hearingaids-Dave  3 месяца назад

      Hi. When these devices keep falling out of your ear you should definitely try a bigger ear dome. Also, you might want to try to put them a little deeper into your ear (but please do it gently).
      Audien has a (poor) help section on that: audien-hearing.gorgias.help/en-US/these-dont-seem-to-be-the-right-size-444965

    I purchased a pair of these. They are basically ear plugs with sound. They block out most all ambient sound and is very annoying when you talk or you rub against the aids while in the ear. If you want to know what I'm talking about, get yourself some hearing protection earplugs and put them in and talk. This is something I can't deal with and if all hearing aids are like this, well I'll just be deaf....

    • @hearingaids-Dave

      True! There are definitely better hearing devices out there.

    Is there earring over the counter devices that you would recommend. I have quite severe tinnitus and difficulty with smashing noises that seem to prevent hearing for a short period of time. Would love to see you opinion. Thank you 😊

    • @hearingaids-Dave
      @hearingaids-Dave  Год назад +2

      Hi Jennie. Unfortunately, there are currently no OTC devices on the market that feature any kind of tinnitus treatment.
      However, as OTCs don’t require a hearing professional I’m not sure if packing a tinnitus noise generator into one of those devices will be preferable.
      Best,
      Dave

    As of for music hearing purposes will it sound quality how is it compare to a headphone?

    • @hearingaids-Dave
      @hearingaids-Dave  Год назад

      Hello and thank you for your comment.
      Well, there are also huge differences in the sound quality of headphones.
      In most cases the sound quality of music with these hearing aids will be below the sound quality of headphones. So of your a person who enjoys listening to music, some mid-quality headphones will probably sound better.
      Best,
      Dave

      Hi and thank you for your comment.
      I also had to return devices and the support was a little slow in my case, but finally it worked.
      Maybe just shoot them another email and double-check the email address you're writing to.
      Hope that helps.

      Seriously, You expect to get a hearing aid for under $100.00? Dont waste the $100, you won’t find anything with any quality. You’re probably posting from a $1,000 phone but can’t spend $300 for decent hearing aids. LOL

    this is a amplify witch can do more damage to the ear. these are also making most insurances not help with real hearing aids cause they are confusing them with amplifier's witch they will not pay for... do not be deceived by the cheep price. i do agree though real hearing aids are to expensive. but not much we can do at the moment.

      These hearing aids have hardly any technical features to talk about, that’s why the features section is so short. More features - more detailed features review.

      Unfortunately not, Sir. The mic wouldn’t do better. Maybe you can raise your computer’s volume a little. Otherwise, most of my videos feature subtitles in case that the sound quality is not satisfying.

    In my opinion the product shown on a tv ad with a moron trying to unravel 700 feet of wires makes this product as garbage like everything else on tv. The ridiculous oversell tactics used by the sellers makes the product ingenuine like everything else sold on tv. Junk

      Thank you for your comment. It’s true that the promises made in TV commercials are way over the top!
      It seems that companies are not able to sell their stuff by setting realistic expectations.
