@@braid.nation Yeah, it wasn't too frustrating because the movement mechanics is fun, but yeah... not ideal. Didn't want to rely on the maps in the Steam guides section because they were spoilery maps.
A 6 dollar game with great content that rivals a 60 dollar Nintendo game in quality and fun? Sign me up. Question though… is the main character a… goat…?
Quality? Yeah the game’s fun, but it’s definitely not on the same level of quality that you get from nintendo games The game didn’t even have a map when it released, it was added like half a year later in an update lol
Seve of Corn Kidz 64 is definitely a goat. its steam page even says "one-horned goatbabies". What animal Sybil is ... probably have to be inferred from elsewhere under the section "RECENT EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS" of Pseudoregalia on steam. The last news in that section is for the Goatling Butler Plush back in July 2024. Sybil has some semblance to the short goat-like characters she meets, so she's most likely a goat.
The map feels like an afterthought because it literally was. I kinda dropped the game awhile ago after getting lost way too many times (I like platformers but have horrid navigational skills), and one of the newest patch notes is literally called "The Map Update".
Hey man cane from your shorts wanna say i fw the content and your style of video i was wondering if you would ever consider doing a deep lore vid for Warhammer

The aesthetic is obviously meant to evoke the n64 platformers the game is a love letter to, and the mechanics develop that genre in a way that AAA studios should take notice of. See how i can talk about the game substantially because i've actually played it?
Ah, so the dev finally got round to adding that map feature to the game then. Boy did I get lost a whole lot when I played through it.
There was no map at one point?! That's crazy.

Waiting till Nintendo gets screwed over because they weren't the first to try and patent jumping lol.
Fun project! Thanks for the opportunity to develop my editing skills.
(can i be let out of the basement now please)

That’s the greatest mystery…no one knows wtf Sybil is

Easily my favorite purchase in the last year, it has waaaay more bang for your buck when it's just 6 bucks. So damn fun.
the best part is there's mods.
so you can be a plushie Sybil.... or have Klonoa strapped to the front of Sybil 😆
or be Fierce Deity Sybil
ah yeah tottally not a big gyat over your 4k monitor for sure.
I’ve never been sucked into a game so hard. Please buy it if you read this!
