Thanks a lot! My Forza Horizon 4 (94 GB unpacked size) installation took about only 3hrs 44mins with your steps. But before normally it was showing 11hrs. Installed on: I3 6th gen (2 cores cpu), 8 GB Ram, GT 730. Guys follow all the steps but no additional steps from others are required. No errors or what so ever

For me it took 24 hr remaining and resulting about 150 gb of all forza files including setup so I gave up and downloaded nfs heat

I was installing Far Cry 4 and it took me 1 hour to complete 1%. So here's what I did :
1. Delete the temp files from the C drive.
2. Once you start the installation, open task manager and set the priority to real-time for the setup.
Not realtime set to high

Guys i want to know why when i open task manager my cpu usage just in range 7% - 15% usage and my installation gta v need 7 hours, but my friends just need 4 hours with the same cpu as mine the difrrent is his cpu usage are 50%-99%

Guys let me feel you how to get really less unpacking time
1) disable antivirus(after the installation you can enable it back)
2)while running the installation if you have 8 gb ram or less make sure you have checked the check box which limits the ram in the beginning of the installation
3) make the program priority to high
This reduced my time from 19 hours to 4 hours

many apps or games cannot run in highly compressed versions. Like GTA games, if it missed a file you will not be able to run the game.
@@kylo.am. heavy games (like GTA v, just cause 4 etc) cannot be compressed or if they are compressed to zip or other file then they do not work.
Except the security step (which i couldn't find in my setup file) i followed all the steps you said and my GTA V setup reduced its time from 7 hours to 3 hours.... Thanks a lot man

If you don't want to do all that work, take my advice , install game in SAFE MODE, game will be 100% installed. I personally don't use any antivirus, windows defender is enough for me.

It depends on your cpu threads or ram , you have at least 8 threads and 8 gb ram then gta v take 3 to 4 hours

bro in my security settings, there is already four option in 'group or username' which are SYSTEM,AUTHENTICATED USERS, ADMINISTRATORS ADMINISTRATORS and USERS, which one should i select before choosing ADD opetion

If you have minimum 8 gb ram then follow all the process and then uncheck the ram box, then did not use the pc during installation
