There is carbs in vegetables, so you should say your carbs come from vegetables. If you eat fruit there is carbs and fructose in them. I never say I don’t eat carbs because I do eat carbs, but very low carbs. I am more a meat eater then anything else. Just had bloodwork and my triglycerides were 30. Best ever. My liver panel was great also. I do eat very little sugar, which is normally Coconut sugar, or keto sweeteners, which I try not to eat much of it. I’m happy with my body because I’m losing the inflammation that was in my body. Happy you are doing great with your journey.

Thanks for that. Exactly what I was looking for. A half a pound every week or two pounds monthly. Perfect. Slow but doable. I don't want to completely stop or really can't. I take honey daily because since I became 60 (65 now) I have pee issues😢. So I take a couple tablespoons of honey daily. No issues until I stop. So I have to be able to keep honey in my daily diet. So zero to low sugar for me. Medicine is truly our healing miracle path to health. Heres to alternative health vs western medicine

if you ever read this response: you can have sweetener, HOWEVER, there's an ingredient that you ALWAYS must look before buy: sodium cyclamate.... if the sweetener have it, DON'T BUY IT! ALWAYS LOOK for that ingredient before ingesting on restaurants, cafes, or buying on a grocery store... but careful, your tastebuds will be sensitive to sweet, so, you may have to start consuming sweet again slowly, so you don't overwhelm your taste buds and think it's too sweet hahaha...
now, speaking about sweeteners (talking of in liquid form), there are 3 kinds: those who are compatible with warm-only temperature, those who are compatible with low-temperature only and those who are compatible with any temperature... unfortunately, there's no way to discern this, only by trying each one of them until you find the perfect sweetener: WITH NO SODIUM CYCLAMATE AND COMPATIBLE WITH BOTH WARM AND COLD TEMPERATURES...
HOWEVER tho, i've seen that sweeteners (always talking in liquid form) that are no compatible with warm temperature, TAINTS the milked coffee with a whiter color, like it's not suposed to be there, another thing that i've witnessed is that if a sweetener it's too bland (or not too concentrated), it can modify the texture of what you're cooking or increase the liquid volume on your cup (it happened to me several times, and i had to look for a new brand, etc., it's a tedious process but i'm a sweet tooth hahaha).
also, stevia sweeteners in liquid form usually don't come with the ingredient i just talked about, but always look at the ingredient table.
another thing before leaving you (which is my case for being a sweet tooth xD ): IF i ever go out to have a coffee (which i don't because i also avoid sugar like the plague hahahah and sweeteners on those places also don't help), i'd have either a black coffee without sugar (which i still can't get use to) or a regular one with plain sugar.
try not to use sweetener in powder form at home.
i truly hope that these tips helps you out to find a new way to enjoy a sweet treat and coffee without the worries of the sugar intake, and also, a more fulfilling snack/coffee
i apologize for such a long post, it was the only way to explain everything and leaving you the best of an advice :D thank you for your time!

The reason for this is that you replace the calories you previously got from carbs with other ones, likely protein more than fat. Protein makes one feel full longer than carbs do, hence you eat less. It has nothing in and of itself to do with low/no-carb.

My dental health is good with minor inflammation. For years and years, the hygienist always started with manual work then would switch to the ultrasonic which would take about a half hour. This time the hygienist noted that I had NO inflammation at all and started the manual cleaning. In less than 10 minutes she asked me what flavor polish I wanted. It makes you lethargic, lazy, unmotivated, produces an insane amount of anxiety and a feeling of being scared and not grounded as well as not being able to utilize your mind and brain to full capacity due to excess amount of anything really. So anything that increases it past a healthy level for you as a woman will only ever be to your detriment. And prolactin just compounds on top of it. Soy products also contain estrogen. There is so much information out there that if you look it up and apply the correct info to your life and live it, you’ll be revitalized and accomplish anything you set your mind to. You just need to reach a point where it matters enough for you to do it. It’s like a smoker. You can’t quit unless you decide to and no one can do it for you.
Good luck to you and your endeavors! Be well and may God bless the path ahead of you.

My story regarding sugar and carbs: last December (2020) I weighed 220 lbs, and my doctor told me I was prediabetic (A1C of 5.9). I decided I would exercise like crazy during my week off between Christmas and new years. I lifted weights and walked 27 miles in a week, but I was eating like I normally did back then--lots of carbs. I lost exactly no weight at all. At the end of January I decided to go low carb/high fat, keep up the exercise and do intermittent fasting. I then lost 30 lbs in about three months, and that's with the added muscle from working out. It was easy, and I really didn't feel deprived. Just as important was how eating low carb made me feel--the mental clarity and energy i experienced once I got off of sugar was really amazing.

I've only been off sugar 5 days and I already notice several changes. One being the way "hunger" has been modified. I do 16-20 hour fasts almost daily and I'm used to feeling serious hunger prior to my eating. Now is a little different and hard to describe but it's like this: I still "feel" that I am hungry when my fast is over (empty stomach, hormones signalling time to eat, etc.), but they don't "compel" me to eat. I can ignore them and not trip off it. These feelings are still real and they are there but its like I don't really care or don't feel like listening to them. In a way, it's subtle but in a way it's very powerful.

I quit sugar back in October last year, immediately noticed the weight loss and most importantly my depression went away, never being in a better mood than throughout this year.
I've eased up into things that I like, like the occasional burger every couple months, no fast food, only craft tho, and coffee only black with no sugar, and this was the hardest because I used to only have those macchio-frappa-crappaccino sugar bombs all the time.

Thanks for this. Second video of yours. First was the “no bread for 30 days”
Got labs back and I have high glucose and a few other “problems.” Goal is to get my body to homeostasis with lifestyle changes versus medications. Started this journey due to irregular and heavy menstrual cycles. I believe that when there’s “issues” in the body, it’s simply a stop sign/sos that’s saying “hey, look over here. I’m not healthy. Please help.”
I believe that most things can be cured through lifestyle changes versus medications/pharmaceuticals and that’s what I’ll prove.
First step, no bread and no sugar.

And as of yesterday my A1C was 5.5 no longer in the pre diabetic levels. In 4-5 weeks, my CRP level went from 16+ down to 9.1, and A1C from 9.1 down to 7.5. In just a month! The chronic diarrhea I suffered from is gone, completely gone. (That was the aspartame) And another month later, the A1C is now 5.8! I feel great. Although I had to go through sugar withdrawal with annoying headaches, it was well worth it. And not least, I lost 7 pounds as well, though I had been dieting anyway, so this was real fat loss and not water bloat.

I have been doing intermittent fasting for almost an entire month! No sugar and very very low carb intake. Our daughter’s birthday was on Wednesday and I decided to be polite and have a small piece of her birthday cake with the family and I didn’t even like it- it was too sweet!

Is eating only complex carbs good? I've given up sugar, simple carbs, and any sugar replacements as I just use a banana in my smoothie.

@@TheHoth1 I'm not no sugar lol. Your body needs sugar. I'm anti added sugar. So I can eat as much fruit as I want! I'm also anti-Simple Carbs as they're so bad for you! But I eat a lot of Complex Carbs like wholegrains. So I can eat things like potatoes, certain bread (Wholegrain. NOT white bread as that's simple carbs.), Peanut Butter(There's no added sugar Peanut butter!) etc. I've never felt better.

I just quit only "added" sugars for 30 days and uploaded a video of my experience, but I had no idea honey and agave were so chemically similar. May have to try cutting out all the above. Incredible video, thank you for this!

This is the best presentation on sugar I have seen yet. I have cut down my sugar intake and have lost weight and my energy level has improved tremendously. Thank you for this excellent and encouraging lesson on sugar and what it does to our bodies.😊

I actually watched this video when it was new. I cut out all processed sugar from my diet about September last year. Lost a lot of weight. Got rid of gout which was making a mess of my body and limiting my mobility. Teeth stopped rotting and are just holding on now instead of getting worse. Dizzy spells and tingling in my fingers are all gone. Brain fog and lethargy are gone.

Buy a product called “good gums”. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. do you research and I Think you’re gonna want it.

One of the best yet ! I don't know of anyone that wouldn't benefit from watching and learning what I just watched. If you don't think sugar is addictive just listen to the people when you ask them to give it up, it's like talking to an alcoholic or drug addict.

Sugar is found in almost every food - even foods that claim ‘no sugar.’ It’s difficult to eliminate “sugar” from the standard American diet because labels are not entirely truthful. Once you become sugar free, you can taste it in almost any food, especially where it may be hidden. I never got a “sugar high,” that feeling is foreign to me. I must be unusual because an ingestion of an abundance of sugar in a given setting, made me feel sick or lethargic. I eat sweets in measured quantities to avoid feeling gross. Sugar is toxic to the liver. When I eliminated sugar (and other toxicities) from my diet, I became very healthy overall. My arthritis was almost gone, my sleep apnea was gone and I got 8 hours of interrupted sleep nightly. Sleep apnea is caused by an overindulgence in sugar and simple carbs. My cholesterol crashed and my LDL and ratio was incredible. My triglycerides plummeted, my BP and HR was very low and as Dr. Ekberg stated, sugar consumption made me feel ill. This is an informative video 👍

@Demarcus It was hard to avoid sugar b/c it’s in everything! I never knew that. Finding healthy foods is an ongoing chore. Drinking water helped me too 👍 I didn’t realize that I was perpetually dehydrated. It took me a good 12 mos to rid the arthritis. I felt incredible and younger than 47 (at the time). Also lost 33 lbs - was ripped.
