  • This is made with the same recipe as my bread and butter pickles. I just chopped them and added peppers. This will be a great addition to the pantry for this winter, to use with burgers, sandwiches, or in salads.

I love watching people can. I used to when I put out a big garden. I'm just not strong enough to do all that now. Breaks my heart. You did good today . I'm sure your relish will be delicious. HELLO Andy I miss you buddy.

Your apron is really pretty. Isn’t it amazing what some peoples preferences are. In my life I may have eaten 1 quart of sweet relish totally. I do like it but don’t think of it much. Thank you for showing this method.

Thank you !!😊 I have never been one to eat relish. But this is exactly the same as my pickles which I cut up and put in things. So I think of it as cutting out a step LOL. 😂 ❤️🧩❤️😋

How did I not know of oven canning?? Golly this is ‘game changer’! Have You tried/canned Green Tomato hotdog relish? Yum! Thank You Lynn

There has been a recipe for oven canned tomatoes for some time now. A disclaimer (IT IS NOT A RECOMMENDED METHOD). But I have done it for things that you would typically water bath. I have lost jams doing them this way. So if you do it do it at your own risk. ⚠️ ❤️🧩❤️😋😊😊

Mine and my wife’s grandmothers used the porch or outside stove for canning in the summer.

I would like to have a canning kitchen. But we are planning an outdoor kitchen and I can use it for canning. It would be nice. 👍 ❤️🧩❤️😋😉

Your apron is beautiful. I love pickle relish. Like you, I use it for many things, and using home canned relish takes your potato salad or any kind of salad calling for relish to another level. The store bought is fine, but it's just not the same.

Thanks. Yes. Anything homemade is better than store brought!!! Once you start cooking and creating your own meals eating out just isn’t fun anymore. 😋❤️🧩
