Everybody uses the rings to start with or you won’t get a seal. Also, it’s best to wipe the rims with white vinegar, not just a dry dish cloth. But I do look forward to trying your recipe, thank you :)

Moe, I just LOVE all of yours and Deb's videos! We need to get the word out to our friends by sharing your videos and get you more subscribers! ❤
I've never done any canning. At one time, I had the big pot and canning jars as I was inspired by my Mom to make homemade jelly. Maybe you will get me started! 🥰

Karen, you are so sweet! We're both so glad you love what we are doing. We want to inspire people to cook. We are not professionals, but we love to cook and want people to realize you don't have to be an "expert" but you can become one in your own kitchen cooking what you like and trying new things. The hot-water bath canning is all I do. I still have not gotten brave enough to do the pressure cooker canning. Maybe one day, I will. You can do this! It's so easy, even I can do it. LOL Be blessed! - Moe

You didn't say how long to leave the jars in the water bath once it comes to a boil. I Googled it and it says 15 minutes after a rapid boil starts. Is this right?

Do you have a recipe for dill relish?

Hi Lorraine! I actually haven't made Dill relish because my family prefers the sweet pickle relish. However, this one looks yummy to me and I may try it! Check it out on the Prairie Homestead. She has some great looking recipes. www.theprairiehomestead.com/2020/09/dill-relish-recipe.html
