I've taken a LONG break since launch and have been waiting for Ashlands to release before jumping back in... Man am I excited!!
I made sure to load up two chars with highest level harvesting and wpns/gear for the launch. When mistlands dropped my map was erased and I had to start over.
@@michaelwolejszo6445 Oh I plan on starting 100% fresh when Ashland goes live. Since I haven't played since few months after launch there's so much new content that it would be silly (for me) to continue the character I had. So I'm VERY excited to basically replay this as if it was my first time :D

@@michaelwolejszo6445 if you learn his attack patterns, have fire resist, healing potions and just fight him with your strongest bow from a distance Yagluth is EEEEZZZZZ
Me and 1 friend beat the whole game with the 2 of us, the boss fights were always really easy for us, but we really overprepared for everything.

I haven't even made it to mistlands yet and I'm still geeked for this lol
I have but I haven't beat it because it's just so darn difficult and the ashlands looks even harder and its scaring me, but 3rd times a charm.😅
@@bungusengi Wear the Root Harnesk. THe only thing you have to fear when wearing that is the Gjall. the majority of the Mistlands deals Pierce damage so Root armor will negate that
The mistlands is difficult, untill the point you get the feather cape and the staff of embers.
After you get those 2 the entire game becomes easy mode.
It really changed the whole gameplay.

In that case please be mindful of the thumbnails you show. I've seen many people not being able to avoid spoilers because valheim CCs keep on putting them right at the thumbnail.

That boat looks big enough to comfortably fit a lox or maybe a few!
A friend and I tried to carry a lox with the Drakkar and was a pain. Hopefully the new boat will be helpful to move a bunch of animals.

It took me two attempts to put down a portal in the Ashlands. I do enjoy a challenge, I will conquer and subdue this new land.
Good to see we'll be able to see something this time. Never finished Mistlands content because despite playing for hours I couldn't see anything half the time :S
Did you never equip a mistlight? It makes a huge difference.
@@faolan2174 No, me and my friend never figured out a way... but now that you asked that, I googled around how to get that (which I normally don't like to do) and it makes sense why we never found it.
We had played the game early on in it's early access stage all through and when mistlands came, we started a new game.
So when we found the mistlands, we tried to investigate that for something new and we had not killed all of the bosses so we had no idea Yagluth actually drops the key element to see in there.... Damn.
Well, now we at least know!

Hey, couple of requests/suggestions. The floating island once you visit it's pointless. Appears all the time but it is something you just ignore. Perhaps it could carry an ingredient for a tasty meal? Or an armor is built with what you harvest from it, but requires a lot of visits so you can build and upgrade? Just saying cause trips tend to be boring, the island is a great way to kill the monotony, but only one or two times...
The marine snake, impossible to catch and get the scales... over 300 hours, never got one 😅

I put lox on my old boat... sailed them halfway around the world so my base could have mad lag.
I've also put a lox on a boat. Sailed two of them to my meadows base for breeding, lol.

They confirmed the Deep North is the last big biome they'll do. But will some small updates to ocean also

I know they will add things that are related to the ocean like that new serpent and the new boat for the ashlands. But I think the chances are very low for getting a whole update focused on the ocean.

@@spacequack5470 why not? It's the next biome in line to get a boat (not counting mountains since it can't be connected to an ocean biome). And considering the lox on board, it would make sense for a boat that's able to carry loxes to be unlocked in the same biome as them

Finally! I’ve been dying to traverse the Ashlands!!
Please add some features to raise food in the game we need lots of foods to discover and crate features that comes with every zone and discovery can take hours and it is fun but cultivating things should be much more efficient cause seeding plants one by one in a very narrow area without any layer system to show us when the plants are to close each other to raise them , can be cumbersome sometimes . Please make cultivation much more efficients or make foods more efficient (like one food gives 2 hours buff instead 20 minutes) so we can take much more time on adventuring and crafting instead of constantly cultivating
