i bought a 01 a4 b5 in pelican blue about 6 months ago, looking to do similar power numbers. This is a sick build, cosmetically and motor wise. Love it man!
Nice build! If I were u I would continue to add more weight saving mods in the front of the car. Capitalize on that and you'll have a nimble handling quattro machine.
Nice build! What internals are you running? I'm fairly new to the Audi world, but recently acquired a 2002 1.8T A4 Avant for dirt cheap that needs an engine. Can you give me some advice on what's needed for a 300-350whp build? I have the 06A block and I'm considering stroking it to a 2.0 with the fsi crank. I'm familiar with Subarus and know what's needed for x amount of power, but a complete noob when it comes to Audi, lol. I know the rods are basically a must, but what about the stock pistons? Can I make 350whp with just rods and supporting mods, or do I need aftermarket pistons as well? I'm trying to do this for as cheap as possible, so the more S4/RS4/R8 parts I can use, the better. One last question, do you know which stock 1.8ts came with forged pistons? Thanks in advance!

I have ebay H beam rods and brand new stock AEB pistons, the AEB motors (97 and 98) came with forged pistons stock which are good up to 600hp or so. last weak link is the exhaust valves, upgrade to inconel and you are good to go. All you really need for 300-350whp is a gtx2867 size turbo, I would go with a g25-550 from pulsar you'll have very good spool with 20+psi around 3500rpm. So source a turbo manifold, turbo, intercooler, Rods/piston,fueling upgrades, and exhaust upgrades (mainly downpipe) and you'll be at a happy 350whp

The audi tt quattro is horizontal, awd doesnt always mean it has to be longitudinal, there are many awd jdms that also have the engine horizontally, in particular evos.
I’m also having that issue, except I swapped an AWP motor in and I cannot get it to run for long at all thing runs awesome for a about 30 seconds to a minute and then starts bogging down and stalls.
For my WG top port open, side ports capped except 1 that goes to the boost controller and out of the boost controller into the boost pipe outlet of the turbo for vacuum/boost reference. Diverter valve reference comes from the intake manifold. Evap is blocked off and PCV goes to a vented oil catch can. Thats it

@@BoostedBucci Hi again my friend my project; As you know, there will be a 2.7 T engine for the A4 B5. They used this engine in the B5 S4 models before. I expect it to be around 800-1000 hp. I'm currently using an e36 bmw m3.
@@samdzus2427 BOV spring is 9lb since my car idles at -17in vacuum, 10lb would work too. WG spring I don't think I changed from the 12lb spring that came with it

@@zDrotex Yeah forged rods/pistons and race bearings . K04 can bend rods because theyre so torque spikey at low rpm, some people get away with it some people dont. If you're gonna do rods might a well do a gt2560rs anyways ;)

It's a 98 so I don't think they came with ESP, but I'm not sure because my ABS has never worked since I got the car

Yes the oil and water lines had to be custom made, the turbos oil return line is custom welded solid steel down past the exhaust manifold

the engine is longitudinal on the fwd one aswell.

Nah the 01E 6 spd came in the S4, i might eventually do the swap when this transmission blows. I have the O1A 5 spd

There's not very many lines because I did a full evap/pcv delete and dont use the n75

Been looking to do a light weight battery did you need to use a custom bracket or anything to hold it down?
I used a pc680 aluminum hold down bracket and rivnutted it to the firewall so its easily removable
