This thing is sick. I went for a stage 3 APR kit on my B6 and just got it tuned today. It's incredible the kind of power you can get out of these engines. Can't wait to see how this turns out

Yo I had the same issue happen with mine with the intake sensor it’s to close to both claps and won’t read it right due to the pressure but if you were to relocate down more like intercooler piping then it’d probably work

with the 3582, whats the spool look like? i just got a gt3582 for mine and am curious as to how long it takes to spool. im fully built on 91 if that helps at all
It hit full spool by 5300-5500. I am now on a g30-770, haven’t tested the spool time on my new turbo yet tho

What did you do to the drivetrain, gearbox, driveshaft etc..?
Stock o1a trans for now, I have a few back ups. If they blow I’ll convert to o1e 6 speed

.82 and it hits full spool by 5000rpm

Stock 01a, then I have a back up 01a from a 2.8l, then if that one goes I’ll look into 6 speed swap

@@alexanderdanielsson6049 the 2.8l is a better option for larger turbo's due to it's gearing. B5 1.8t 5spd has boost right when you let the clutch out vs B5 2.8 5spd once you shift there isn't as much torque immediately. Which leads to blowing up 2nd and 3rd. I don't know transmission codes nor squat about s4 transmissions. So I guess all that to not answer your question :p
what ecu? why use a maf? im really asking for me. i have a 01 awm car im getting ready to daily. one tuner says use maf for daily street, or says mafless is the best route.
im staying with 93 fuel.
im having trouble finding tuners for stock ecu. if you or any one else has one they know please let me know. ive tried following and they all said no: UM, Blake, Watkins, CO motorsports, motoza, and current tuner might be bailing too. Big turbo remote tuners, im all ears.
im using the ME7.5 from an 01 AWM car, and Blake is tuning it for me, he recommended the MAF.
What ECU are you using?
@@Luke100mph im using a 01 awm 7.5 ecu as well. Yeah i was talking to Blake for about a yr. I know he does mainly b5 s4, but i asked him if he tunes 1.8 awm and he said yes. I was getting ready to place the water / meth kit order from him and buy the startup tune. He had a change of heart all of a sudden. Told me b5 s4 is really what he specializes in and i should go back to my older tuner instead. 🤷♂️. I was going to buy all the s4 stuff from him plus tune as well. Oh well i guess. I guess he picks and chooses. My money must of stunk, lol. I think he was worried the tune would not be good enough to daily I don't know. This is not an attack on him, it's just a story that happened.
So anyway if you know anyone else, I'm sure you had other people on your list. I heard of Lone Star Tuning but could not find anything on the forums.
@@easycomeeasygo8901 he’s tuned other cars for me in the past. I’ve had different tuners do that to me tho as well, frustrating 😬 Watkins won’t either? Wonder why, what’s your set up?
@@Luke100mph he was recommended to me by mike hood. I was very disappointed to say the least. Watkins said he does not tune 01 awm 1.8ts, 🤷♂️. Maybe if i asked in person it would be different. Motoza is trying to get carb certified. My setup is too "radical" for the epa boys they told me. God for bid i have cams, lol.
Im nothing crazy. Forged 1.8t stroker, 870cc, ie cams/intake, valves/springs, stock small port, supporting mods, spa top mount with tdr turbo 6057. Nothing off the wall crazy. Stock ecu, passed emissions as 1.8t, should have no prob now either. I wanted meth, UM wont tune for meth and doesnt want to mod my old tune. They more interested in stock new car tunes. Thats where the moneys at.
Well any way. Im still searching for tuners of stock awm 7.5 ecu. If you or anyone else has other tuners they know of do tell. I saw your car and just thought id ask.
