Thank you. A C- Section delivery which saved my daughter's life and mine 30 plus years ago. Then a hysterectomy and gall bladder laproscopy. I am going to try reiki healing of my abdominal viscera too. Thank you.
Thank you for the explanation. I've been working on my diastasis recti for 6 months.. All the doctor told me after I was clear for exercise was to avoid sit ups and crunches... It hasn't gotten any better, but it hasn't gotten any worse.
I’m a male bodybuilder of 30+ years that due to a few orthopedic injuries and family obligations stopped training for almost 3 years. I now suffer from a pretty significant case of diastasis recti along with gastric and umbilical hernias! I believe lack of training, gaining about 20 lbs of fat and age, all resulted in this affliction. It’s actually pretty common among bodybuilders/weight lifters. I’ve been back to training regularly for over two years now and managing my diastasis recti with a weight lifting belt on heavier exercises but it’s pretty clear that I will have to undergo surgery if I ever want it corrected. I’m very concerned about the down time and pain from surgery especially now that I’m back in decent shape again. I think it will be a long time after surgery before getting back to my current level of training.
