You sold me on the Franchi. I owned an Remington 11-87 back in the 90s but sadly I sold it around 2010 or so. Decided to get another semi and was not sure how to go. I really liked the way the Benelli models feel, but did not want to drop that much cash for one. The Franchi Affinity 3 was very similar, felt great and had good reviews. Watching this and some of your other videos convinced me that this would be a shotgun that I would be happy with and not bust the bank. So I bought one after work today. Gonna take it to a clays match in November and give it a try. Thanks for your videos.
Just got the Affinity 3 before last season. I have never had a gun feel more natural in my hands. For the price, that's the way to go!

If any gun fits you , you will shoot well with it! Two nice looking guns for the money , but the traditionalists like wooden stocks and nice engravings but that's a matter of taste! I bought my first ever semi automatic shotgun this year for goose borrowed my buddys affinity 3 and I loved they way it shot and shouldered so I went and got one and I love it after owning a pump for years

Awesome review!!! Looking at either buying an Affinity or an Affinity Elite. Just wondering how the cerakote holds up. That’s going to be my deciding factor whether the cerakote is great of if the camo dip will suffice. Thanks.

I have an sbe3 and absolutely love it but i agree both are great guns and you wont go wrong with either one just depends on your budget
i shoot a Benelli with the same choke just not ported and i called Carlson and they said that the inertia guns don't like the ported choke tubes as much, because it does effect recoil and the guns rely on the recoil to cycle loads especially light dove target loads. so that could be the reason the Franchi wasn't cycling as well.

Ive had a Franchi Affinity 3 for 2 years now and just recently bought Benelli SB3 in optifade marsh and I can say the Benelli is well worth the money. Feels amazing and have 200 rounds with no jams. Both great but benelli is the gun for me.
What choke are you using on the Franchi? I just bought one myself and I'd like to get used to it with a solid full choke.
I'd like to see you get your hands on a stoeger m3500 and give your opinion on it. I love both those guns as well!

I can't honestly say which I prefer more. The Franchi Affinity Elite feels amazing in the hands. Super thin and LOP is perfect. I do prefer the larger bolt release, but that's a minor thing. Since my SBE3 is wood, I'll make it my upland gun and the Franchi my waterfowl. I bought the SBE3 first then the Franchi 3rd after the M3500.
Does your sbe 3 shoot high?
Just picked up the Affinity Elite 3.5 in Optifade Marsh and I love it.
Bought the Franchi 3 Elite 20ga back in May. Took a bit of break in to shoot federal top guns at the range, but is 100% reliable now. Awesome little gun and can't wait to try it in the duck blind this year.

Picked up the franchi affinity 3.5 elite last fall great gun but had to shim it to get it to shoot to my liking. Any way you could do a video on putting the shims in between the stock and action to see how much difference it makes?

Have my affinity 3 like 7 years ago never failed in a single shot fits me like a dream still trying to convince my self to get something new but I can’t feel or trust anything like my oldeee .

I have an SBE2 that I use for waterfowl and when I get mad at rangy pheasants. I picked up a Mossberg SA 28 a couple years ago, it's just more fun to use smaller gauges. Anywho that little gun points extremely well just like my Benelli, and all though it's a gas gun if you keep it clean I haven't had a single malfunction in a case and a half of shells. If you're going to stay in that $500 range, look at the Mossberg SA 12, 20, 28, you don't need 3.5" but if you do want it this gun is out. They come with a case, removable choke tubes, walnut stock and blued.
Bobby so I was thinking about getting an inertia 12 gauge, but I'm still not sure if sometimes they have issues shooting from layouts or awkward stances because of the necessary shoulder mount. If you could let me know if you have an opinion or experience with inertia guns that would be greatly appreciated! And your vids keep me goin man

I would recommend the 870 wing master with the 3inch magnum receiver because I have shot deer turkey and ducks with it and it’s a good price and a great gun

I have a franci afinity 3 in max 5 and absolutely love it.
Do the camps rub off on them I’m looking at them but dose it rub off?

@@crisp_weldz1662 i haven't hunted with my gun yet but I've never heard of camo peeling on a benelli. The gun has a 7 year warranty so if it does within that time period you can send it back
I have a sbe3 rn and it’s one of those special edition ones with all the fancy nickle and wood and whatnot, I’m going to go to the Franchi I think once I sell the fancy one.

I’ve felt franchi’s and Benelli’s, and the over feel of the Benelli felt much better in the hands and the technology is better which would add to the appeal.

I owned a sbe3 for a shot time. Never had a gun feel so nice in my hands. Felt so nice to point and shoot …. But our relationship ended there. There wasn’t enough shims on earth to bring the pattern down. The thing shot a solid foot high at 20 yards which just messed with me constantly!
So Bobby what is your recommendation for shotguns that are 500 or less on a tight budget.

Great. I’d you guys, I always enjoy them!!! I have a bigger budget but want the lightest 12 guage 3” shells and the softest shooting shotgun. I’m 69 so the weight n recoil are extremely important to me. I like the Benelli seems to be the better gun but I want to shoot clays and hunt with it too. Any comments, please?

The franchi affinity 3 in the uk is only £610 and about £100 more for a 3.5 inch gun the franchi is better value for money then a benelli by a mile

Way to crawfish Bobby. I used the Franchi in North Dakota and loved it. Oh wait it jammed well it’s brand new and I only shot it 4 times lol.

I know this is old but I was shooting skeet with my new version a5 and hitting them all then switch to my SBE3 and was missing then I remembered they patterned high so I just lowered right before I shot a smidge and didn't miss anymore. You were probably shooting over them. I know this is an ancient video, just for anyone who is having that problem with a SBE3 and doesn't wanna fool with shims/the internal bolt/or sending it back. Just lead it and aim a little low.
