I didn’t start watching this show until 2022 either and ended up binging the whole thing in an embarrassingly short amount of time😂 soo comforting, it definitely takes a few episodes for the show to hit its groove but I think around episode 6 of this season is when it really starts to take off
I don't think Rory is saying she's not like other girls; I think the other girls are saying, "She's not like us." Of course, that is still the writers.
I believe the Menendez thing is referring to the Menendez brothers. They killed their parents in 1990. So I think shes saying she could do that😅

same here, I also was (and still am) a high achiever. I had fun, learning. And I wasn´t the only one in my class. We were like 5 friends, learning a lot and working quite hard for good grades.

That's okay; I grew up watching movies from the '30s and '40s and reading books written in the 19th century. These things can still be enjoyed even though they existed before I was born. I never even thought it was particularly extraordinary.

The town gives Mystic Fall vibes because it's the same town square used in both shot differently etc I'm enjoying the Amy Sherman Palladino's (GG showrunner) new show The Marvellous Mrs Maisel - more funny and less comforting though.

It started amazing and then it went to heck in a handbasket. Rory cheated so many times. I also refused to watch it until last week and I quit watching because of the writers destroying Rory and taking her from Laura Ingles into Basic Instinct
