Just wanted to say as a professional Guitarist and educator myself I look at a good deal of you tube posts. Most posts feature outstanding players who have no idea how to explain in context what it is they're demonstrating. You however have a natural sense of pedagogy and make your topics very clear....nice work!

That diminished descending pattern which you demonstrate here was used a lot in Barry Gray's music in many of the Gerry Anderson Supermarionations such as incidental music in Thunderbirds and Stingray.

This pattern uses the half-whole scale but you could try it over a whole tone scale too, it works like a charm.

Hey Jamie, another great lesson. What gauge strings are on your tele? Are they flatwounds? Thanks..... Derek from the Canadian East Coast

Earl00001 Thank you Derek! I actually have no idea since I haven't restrung it since I got it two years ago! They are certainly roundwounds, and probably 10-46 gauge strings though I am considering putting 11's on it soon. Hope this helps anyway.

Knowing what notes to start a diminished run on for a desired end or resolution is my confusion.

Marketing suggestion. You have a great product but you should invest a little time in how you present it. The lighting is bad. A title sequence would look very professional. Trust me. You'd probably increase the amount of likes. Great lessons though.
