I actually agree with the gentleman on the right. Democracy always drags the rate of development down. Too much freedom and rights creates disorder in society and a disordered society cannot move forward on a fast pace.
When you say, democracy drags the rate of development, are you refferring to erecting buildings and other construction. Is development is only about recting such structures? Why don't we have a different imagination of development?
@അർജുന not just infrastructure, I meant monetary growth. People should have jobs, money, better living conditions like quality air, water, society with very less crime, etc. But in order to have all those, i believe there should be less noice. Noice is generated because everyone has opinion about everything. The more the people shut their mouth and do the work, the faster a society can achieve these.
Once you or your family gets impacted, you will be supporting democracy. Imagine your house and land is taken over in the name of development, and you put in jail for protesting.
