The top coolant line, the metal one that threads in, it actually has to connect to the top of the coolant reservoir, the bottom coolant line has to connect to the turbo coolant line "the hard metal one"
Yo you sure about this? I have a p0172 code and have it installed like this but I'm about to change it hopefully that is the issue. There are a lot of different installations on these. It's crazy
@@AlexTer221 you are right. After two days of figuring out the issue I swapped the coolant hoses and the code went away. Not sure why some Subarus run fine with them being opposite. My car runs fine now. Thanks and hope this helps someone
Love the video! Great on showing where the hoses go! This was a throwback to when I put it, I had a hard time removing the damn old hoses and putting the new ones in ESPECIALLY the ones in the back SMH! I hate this install
Thank for this video. I’m running a 2015 sti and I’ve had issues installing the hoses under the stock tmic. I have a grimmspeed tmic now and this will help with how I run the hoses underneath
we need a full install video. this install is way more involved than the IAG directions show, or any youtube install videos have shown. not to mention, most install videos are for VAs and not GRs. i also think yall missed the very bottom hose off the baffle, which should connect directly to the coolant expansion tank?
i own a 2013 instruction say the top hose goes straight to the coolant reservoir and the bottom one to the turbo ..... and another one the 2 black connection on top does the pcv valve need to be bypass or do i need them still
Thank you for the detailed video! Do you remember how did you secured the Y fitting to the engine? ( bottom part ) no matter what I’m doing it doesn’t feel secured enough
question. on the crossover pipe, i actually deleted the whole crossover pipe because i had the intake manifold off, so i run the line straight to the 90 degree fitting to turbo inlet ?
Looking into getting one of these.. has your friend ever put any strut tower bars on after the install? IAG says most won't be compatible so I'm wondering if this is true
Omfg finally someone upload a more informative video of the pipes. I waited out on my install cause the instructions iag give with the images are unclear. Street or comp version? And do you have any pictures of the Hoses that are connected to?
this was literally exactly what i needed, same aos and tmic for me so the y piece extension was a huge help and time saver

@@luislooey9727 I had it installed like that and had no issue, so I suppose it's correct

@@luislooey9727 you can also delete your coolant reservoir, thats what I did, looks much cleaner. And simpler system
Eddie’s car is one of the best of all time

Glad I can help out!

I am making a FULL in depth how to on this just wait! Look for FW motors IAG Install.
@@clubdredd1337 Any update of the full in depth video? looking to try to install mine with in the next week or so. Thanks!

you use the factory s tube. the y fitting goes onto that
I notice you only mentioned 8 of the 9 hoses.. is that 9th the top of coolant expansion?

Hey what about the sensors the one next to the throttle body. It has a bad adapter.
The last bottom big hose goes to the expansion tank
Great pointer
"The hard line of the turbo." Do you mean the coolant line on the turbocharger?

What happened to the Blow by sensors?
One more thing brodie. What killer b headers you get. Almost done with build list.
Kiler B headers :D
bro is that bottom threaded tube connected to your coolant?
Bruh I needed this before, how come I only found this now smh... I was looking up for COBB, but its the same shit. SMDH

Street series! This install refers to the 2008-2014 Subaru WRX models.
Hey I'm doing a full install of this a full in depth how to with FW Motors.
Do you bypass the pcv?
What did you guys do to the 3 sensors?
pcv blow by sensors? you removed them and jump the connections
Iag or grimmspeed??
Ac_plugs iag
I can’t believe how absolute shit the IAG and COBB instructions are... it really pisses me off.
