I'm several years late to the Cog Squad. Its been a joy to binge watch, & I'm caught up now since I've binge watched 👀 So enjoyable from the beginning. I continue to watch & learn! We're never too old to learn! Lol I came over from Chad's suggestion of Adler Farms, & of course, keepin' it Dutch. - Nugget - Nugget has got to be the sweetest Emu I've ever spied, but in all fairness, I haven't seen many in my 60yrs. - "Nuggie, the Cog Hill Farm Sheriff," was the cutest little watermelon 🍉 running around on two legs. Oh my goodness what a sweetie. With Marycarl added it was such a heartwarming 💕 moment. - Awesome, just an awesome little critter - Still is. Our animals love as we give love most of the time. God Bless You Folks as You Press On.
I just realized why Jason looks so different...he's clean shaven ! Nugget looks so different, those stripes are so distinctive, what a cute baby he was!

I just love how you talk to your animals like there human and could answer your questions if they could, that's most likely why your animals are so calm healthy and happy when they see you coming along there so happy makes me want a little farm homestead, you have such a beautiful place I find you and your family very inspiring and knowledgeable about farm living and raising live stock not to mention that spectacular garden.
You're so fortunate to have an Emu. During my Connecticut days, a dear friend had an Emu on her farm and its name was "Punch". Punch lived with 2 horses and 2 llamas. It was a real treat to be approached by Punch ... My first time meeting Punch, he was already full grown; standing about 5' - 8" , my height. He greeted my from about 4 feet away and then slowly came to me: resting his head onto my shoulder. Watching Punch race with the horses was an incredible sight. A beautiful and graceful individual.
The lady that gave the emu to Mary Clair knew what she was doing. That baby girl of yours loves birds more than anyone I have ever seen. Maybe some he should think and studying birds when she gets older. I bet she would love to be one of the people that take care of Sand Hill Cranes. In Gautier Ms. they have just a few of one kind of Sandhill Crane. They are beautiful!
Maybe Scott pulled out his feathers just pondering the new responsibilities he’ll be taking on being a Papa. Your Mary Carl carries her pets as tenderly (almost) as a Mama would. Your show lifts my spirits and I’m sure I’m not the only one. God bless you all (y’all) abundantly.

Welcome to your new baby emu! If you have any questions about raising him, you should contact White House on the Hill. They have had some awesome success raising 3 of them, so far. I know they need high fencing and plenty of room to run...they are extremely fast!
Can I just say I love how you update all the animals about what’s going on in your world. Updating them on changes and what not. 😊. It’s cute and fun!!! P.s. please ask Mary Carl if it would be okay if I named my first chicken after her. I’m working on my coop plans now and plan to try locating Mary Carl type fun and cute chickens as soon as that’s finished. Edit: now I think I need a hand raised emu too. 😳

🤣🤣😂. I do believe that if Mary Carl dreams and wishes REAL hard anything is possible. Just look at the way Nugget already looks up to her. 4 hour drive home on her lap was just perfect amount of time to bond and you’ll not put a wedge between that friendship. She not only have seat riding in the cart that sweet thing might learn to steer it too. I may have raised my goat to ride in backseat of my old Oldsmobile Cutlass with head out window like a dog shooting baaa to all the truckers on freeways I KNOW an Emu will gather some followers on the road too. That Emu may get so attached Mary Carl may never get a boyfriend one day. Save her dad a lot of heartbreak when time comes and maybe a few bullets too. 😂😂🤣🤣. She could be a track star if she practices running with Nugget too. This is going to be some adventure so don’t let us down. I already have a front row seat for this one right beside Peaches. You all are some of the best Parents around. Mary Carl has to be so happy. I had baby pigs in my room as a kid. We got the runts from a farm and nursed them with Baby bottles and pig formula. We dressed them in doll clothes and pushed them around in our doll buggy. They would sleep in a basket next to the bed and run around outside. Little did we know that they would go back to the pig farm farm to grow and be processed. Good Memories. I am making Strawberry Jam from your recommended cook book Thank you for the tip.
