There’s a lot of research behind this video and you’ve managed to put together all that and your own thoughts into such a well structured script. Xion’s theme and it’s covers have always had a special place in my heart and this has given me even more appreciation for all the artists and their renditions and a new perspective to fan communities.

I finally got around to watching this, and knowing how hard and how long you have been working on this project, I can safely say that all your efforts paid off big time. Not only did you present your thesis, and backed it up with a tremendous amount of research, you also made it easy for the audience to absorb, regardless of whether they had any prior knowledge of the subject or not; and, to top it all off, you also tied it to your own personal journey as an musician, only reinforcing the points you were making in the video. That is some great, impressive, stuff, and it gave me a whole new way of looking at the impact Xion's theme has had, and a new way of looking at community spaces as a whole. Not to mention the fact that you went above and beyond with the presentation of both the video itself and the connection map. You have made something extremely fresh, unique, and informative to share with the community, and you should be very proud of yourself for it. I know I am. ✌🏻❤️

I've been around in the KH fandom space for a long time now and it's nice for someone to finally map out this thing that I noticed years ago. It's a very interesting subject and I love it a lot. As a fan of both the genre of folk and the concept of the process(though I've always been a tad too young to experience it myself outside of fandom spaces). A similar thing to Vector although much bigger is the Imperial March. I obviously don't have the research to back it like Kinode does, but the amount of covers I've listened to and take inspiration from each other always felt interesting and I never fully knew how to discribe it. Thanks for the fantastic video! It was very informative!

Very. It's cool to see how different nuances to each persons cover effects eachother, and how there's a line you can trace back to who did what and how it traveled. With how many variations there are it goes to show how much people love the song and even the character attached to it. :)
The content I knew I desperately needed when I first played through the whole seires a few years back, but didn't receive until now. Seriously man, this stuff is practically therapeutic to me. The obsession I developed over Yoko's work was insane, and it's nice to see someone finally acknowledge her incredible talent in depth besides saying, "yeah, the music is pretty good."
You should check out Green Requiem's "Music of Kingdom Hearts" series! He goes really in-depth on the entire series' soundtrack. Glad you enjoyed this!
