@@krisissupercool1 Well, VOCALOID 5 offers more techniques and is aimed towards professionalism and is more of a DAW.
It might be best to buy V3 voicebanks with the V3 Tiny Editor first. VOCALOID 4 is not around anymore.

though, then again, i know that there are ways to cheat around and get older voicebanks to work in more recent softwares by changing the file names or whatever

myst3ries yeah, some of them do. Though, you do have to admit that there are also some that feel very out of place
Honestly, it bothers me that V5 doesn't have other types of breaths from what I've heard - like inhaling through the nose or shallower versions of the ones they already have for smaller gaps between notes. :/

the breaths are pretty customizable, at least what it seems like from the V5 demo video on the official website, don't know how easy it is to match GUMI's voice though

Nothing against your mixing skills or GUMI, @KIRA, but does anyone else find her gasps a little awkward? It sounds like she's inhaling helium from a balloon rather than a natural gasp.
It's probably because that's the default breath. It's not specified for Gumi, so if she gets a v5 it might sound more natural. But i have no idea so that's just my guess.

Overall she sounds pretty good. I just don’t like some of the breathes used. They sound a little too hard or loud. A few of the breathes are actually pretty nice and flow, others really don’t.
