I’m 99% certain this is the sequel to Monster. In Monster, Gumi is talking about how she’s gonna get “revenge” on a “betrayer”. Now, in this song, she’s going out to do it. Then, look at Gumi’s clothes. Compare them to the outfit she was wearing in Monster. It’s the SAME DRESS, BOW, AND LEGGINGS. She’s just wearing a protective jacket over everything because she’s outside and if she’s going to “war”, she’ll need protection. Secondly, the font/style when it says “RRRA-TTA-TA-TA” is the same in Monster. Sometimes the themes can be a definite Easter egg. Look at the right, where you see that poster with Kira’s chicken. It looks like a whole building has been torn apart. And from what I remember, the floor of the room from Monster had that same checker cross pattern. I love this song so much, it’s so catchy and well composed. I feel like the drumbeats sounds like gunshots, to give us that mental image of the song when we don’t watch the PV. Sadly Google images will serve you pictures of Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns if you google Machine Gun (in addition to actual Machine Guns), which is almost certainly how the mixup happened in the first place (blame google, not Ekkoberry, she's too awesome for blame). Our main Gal Gumi here is rockin' what seems to be meant to look like an older model M-16, with a couple of aspects borrowed from later iterations and curiously lacking the signature forward assist. There are a couple odd flavors of FAL and even AK at one angle, my guess is that Ekko's references mixed a bit between them, again because of Google. The M-16, in every flavor, is not a Machine Gun, nor is the representation our green diva is toting around. The silhouette elsewhere in the video looks like a stock image for a PKP, which IS a Machine Gun, but it's hard to tell. There are a couple external things to note here to tell that this is not what is classified as a "Machine Gun". Numero Uno: The dang thing has a wimpy mag, that thing hold 30 rounds at best, and Gumi's gonna have to take a lot of breaks from revenge to reload, not to mention the need to stow quite a few extras somewhere under that coat. Numero Dos: It lacks a lot of basic features that, while not NECESSARY to a Machine-gun, would typically be present such as a Bi-pod, a carry handle, shoulder brace, quick-change barrel, a top-feed system and a link dispenser. Numero Tres (and this is the big one): It does not have an open-bolt operation. This is arguably the biggest prerequisite to being a real Machine Gun. An open-bolt basically means that only an idiot would ever shoot that thing one bullet at a time. An Assault Rifle is closed bolt, meant to switch between one shot per trigger-pull and squeeze and spray automatic fire. The general mistake people tend to make is assuming that anything with the ability to do the latter is a "machine gun", mainly because hollywood and video-games have sorta taught us that. Closed bolts are all well and good when you're doing what an Assault Rifle is meant for, but if you were to shoot a closed bolt gun as you would a Open-bolt machine gun I.E. RATATARATATATATA Long sustained shooting, that closed bolt's barrel would get dangerously hot, or straight up melt. An Open Bolt lets a lot more air in, at the expense of more contamination and a slight delay in the first shot (Which doesn't matter when you're spraying like you should be). It's also a LOT simpler, lighter, and tends to be a lot more reliable, which is a big plus when you're shooting a LOT more bullets out than you would any other gun. *cue The More You Know jingle* TLDR: Nah, not a Machine Gun

Secondly, the font/style when it says “RRRA-TTA-TA-TA” is the same in Monster. Sometimes the themes can be a definite Easter egg.
Look at the right, where you see that poster with Kira’s chicken. It looks like a whole building has been torn apart. And from what I remember, the floor of the room from Monster had that same checker cross pattern.
I love this song so much, it’s so catchy and well composed. I feel like the drumbeats sounds like gunshots, to give us that mental image of the song when we don’t watch the PV. Also, Gumi’s English, usually hard to use, is tuned so well as usual! The breaths sound awesome! Ekkoberry’s art is so amazing too!!

Sadly Google images will serve you pictures of Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns if you google Machine Gun (in addition to actual Machine Guns), which is almost certainly how the mixup happened in the first place (blame google, not Ekkoberry, she's too awesome for blame).
Our main Gal Gumi here is rockin' what seems to be meant to look like an older model M-16, with a couple of aspects borrowed from later iterations and curiously lacking the signature forward assist. There are a couple odd flavors of FAL and even AK at one angle, my guess is that Ekko's references mixed a bit between them, again because of Google. The M-16, in every flavor, is not a Machine Gun, nor is the representation our green diva is toting around. The silhouette elsewhere in the video looks like a stock image for a PKP, which IS a Machine Gun, but it's hard to tell. There are a couple external things to note here to tell that this is not what is classified as a "Machine Gun".
Numero Uno: The dang thing has a wimpy mag, that thing hold 30 rounds at best, and Gumi's gonna have to take a lot of breaks from revenge to reload, not to mention the need to stow quite a few extras somewhere under that coat.
Numero Dos: It lacks a lot of basic features that, while not NECESSARY to a Machine-gun, would typically be present such as a Bi-pod, a carry handle, shoulder brace, quick-change barrel, a top-feed system and a link dispenser.
Numero Tres (and this is the big one): It does not have an open-bolt operation. This is arguably the biggest prerequisite to being a real Machine Gun. An open-bolt basically means that only an idiot would ever shoot that thing one bullet at a time. An Assault Rifle is closed bolt, meant to switch between one shot per trigger-pull and squeeze and spray automatic fire. The general mistake people tend to make is assuming that anything with the ability to do the latter is a "machine gun", mainly because hollywood and video-games have sorta taught us that. Closed bolts are all well and good when you're doing what an Assault Rifle is meant for, but if you were to shoot a closed bolt gun as you would a Open-bolt machine gun I.E. RATATARATATATATA Long sustained shooting, that closed bolt's barrel would get dangerously hot, or straight up melt. An Open Bolt lets a lot more air in, at the expense of more contamination and a slight delay in the first shot (Which doesn't matter when you're spraying like you should be). It's also a LOT simpler, lighter, and tends to be a lot more reliable, which is a big plus when you're shooting a LOT more bullets out than you would any other gun.
