I like Sirott but he NEEDS to stop calling a goal as "scoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore! Hey Judd, this is NOT soccer. Otherwise I've been listening and watching hockey since 1970. Bob Wilson on the radio was the gold standard. He made you see the game via his calls. Also loved Fred Cusick with color man Johnny Peirson. Class acts all three. I'm going to really miss Jack Edwards and f*ck his detractors. Great guy, that I wish great health and happiness for.
Jack Edwards is non-replaceable in the NESN booth high above the ice at TD Garden. He and Andy Brickley were kings of broadcasting the Bruins’ games. Like I enjoy Don Orsillo (who now broadcasts the San Diego Padres’ games) & Dave O’Brien (and sometimes Dennis Eckersley [until his broadcasting retirement in 2022]) have done with the late Jerry Remy on NESN’s Red Sox games, Jack Edwards was the man of broadcasting. I was 9 when he first started in 2005; I was almost 28 when he retired after Game 6 of the Bruins’ 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs in Round 1. Like I did when the late Bob Barker retired from CBS’ hit game show The Price Is Right in 2007, I cried for a good 10 minutes after Jack said goodbye to Brick, NESN & the Bruins. It just won’t be the same without Jack inside TD Garden calling the games. Enjoy retirement Jack. LONG LIVE THE BOSTON BRUINS! 🏒
I Can’t wait for this season to start! I like our defence looking forward to seeing the rookies add some much needed speed and scoring 🤞🏻I expect some growing pains but with sway in nets …🙏🏻we could be in it!!! I personally love jack ❤ and of course Andy!! they were funny and gonna miss Chinese mustard moments!! Lots of change this season should be fun to watch and listen!!
I can't wait for season to start!! 60 days to go baby!! Let's go Bruins!!!! Can't wait to see Zadorov and Elias Lindholm in spoked B!! And the Bruins D is looking like they could be really good and intimidating!? McAvoy being smallest guy at 6'1" 210lbs is nice!? Rest of guys r 6'3" 6'4" and Zadorov and Carlo r both 6'6"!!!! Bruins D is huge!!! They're looking like they could be a real good team!? Hopefully Lindholm and maybe Zadorov too, will help out the PP!? Lindholm is guna give Bruins a great option in bumper position on PP!? He's got a real good shot and I think him playing with Pasta and Zacha or maybe Pasta and Marchy at times is guna help him a bunch and should get him back to producing the bigger #'s he's already shown he can do!?
They signed there forwards they signed there d core they signed there announcer they signed the peanut vendors now can they please sign there starting goalie
Blah blah blah another 120 point season and no Cup , aren't you bruins fans fed-up ?? Should of won at least 5 cups in the last 12 years... best regular SEASON team of all time , blah blah blah
Peeke is 6'3. perfect size for what will be asked of him on the bottom pair. on the Stanley Cup Champions your top five was Chara and Seidenberg, Ferrence and Boychuck and Mcquid. they were nasty and hard to play against. the key this coming season is getting a pulse out of Ljndholm.
I think our d is the best d core in the nhl. If lysell and poitras can make an impact along with lindholm in the forward group the cup window reopened all the way
Happy about Judd, he is on point. However I strongly disagree with your assessment on the Bruins D! We have been very weak on the blue line forever it seems since big Z turned into a cone drill 4 or five years before he retired. We get pushed around and cough up the puck in our own zone far too often to go full ‘Homer’ on the D. Keep up the good work @Bruins Digest
Jack Edwards is not replaceable

Edwards was horrible. He MIGHT say score!!! About an hour later. Horrible to listen to

There will never be another Jack Edwards, but I have listened to Sirott on the radio and he is fine. He will do a good job I am sure.
Judd Sirott is the MAN! I've been muting the TV and matching up Judd and Beers for about 3 years now. Bruin fans are gonna LOVE this guy!
60 days remain. I'm hyped! Who else is ready for this season to start!

Not a fan of Sirott. I was hoping for the guy who replaced Jack when he took some time off last season.

Jack Edward's sounded drunk every night for the past 5 years . Just sayin
An medical issue with his speech in the reason he retired
We still got Andy Brickley so it'll all be good. The defense is really good on paper, let's hope they can bring it!
Sirrott is great!!!!

Who's replacing Judd?
Nesssin
If all the Bruins D-men play to their full potential they will be the NHL's "Shut Down Squad"!

Judd’s gonna be great . But never fear the Razor is here , with the calming words .
Zadorov is #91
