Even as a relaxed girly the natural hair slander is disgusting to me. I cannot believe there are people who genuinely believe these ideas of natural hair. Natural hair is beautiful.
As a Brazilian black girl is crazy to see this type of behavior coming from African women. Whenever I thought of Africa I thought of the idea of "the homeland", a place in which black people ruled and were confident and proud about their blackness. Also, the natural hair movement is doing well here and I don't see it changing any time soon, as wigs are not a popular thing.
It’s crazy how there is such hate on natural curly hair. A core memory I had was both my mom and little me saw this gorgeous black girl with curly hair. She looked like a model and her hair looked so soft like clouds. She was so pretty.
All this hate on natural hair knowing that’s the very type of hair that’ll forever grow from their scalp lol it’s amazing how the criticism is coming from mostly black women & majority of black men. Ridiculous.
I have had my hair relaxed forever! Now I will bring natural hair wherever I go. No wigs, relaxers. I MAY press it, MAY braid it or but no I just wear a fro. Other women don't determine what I do, YOU do YOU.
How is this a problem in sub-Saharan Africa? Most everyone is black. How is the euro standard strong there? Anyone from Africa know what’s going on there?
We all consume the same media worldwide so the influence of European standard of beauty is the same as in the West. It’s sad but so happy that this video and others by these wonderful creators like Tinuola here is doing gods work in encouraging BW to love themselves and the hair that naturally grows on your hair
The speaker in that talkshow… I’d honestly like to believe she meant to say or express a deeper idea on self love and being more creative with natural hair and makeup or something because WHAAAAATTTT??!!!!
lol I also went natural when it was a trend. Went natural back in 2014 and with my first chop I barely wore my hair out and would constantly braid my hair. Salon damaged my hair and did another chop and never braided or went to salons again. Loved my loose natural hair when it was short and when it got long it looked full and beautiful but my wash days took long and that frustrated me so much. So decided to loc my hair in 2020 and never looked back again 😂😂😂. For me when I went natural I actually got more attention and compliments compared to when my hair was relaxed. South Africans tend to appreciate the natural look over wigs and so forth so no one makes fun of people wearing their natural hair out or even not wearing makeup. Really really loving your content ❤

The same way i like changing my clothes i also like changing hairs does not mean i don't like natural hair it depends on what my Outfits are 😂 i like natural hair on jeans trousers and top with my oversize hear rings , wigs on my Traditional outfits 😂braids when i am working the whole month without break 😅 so if i wear jeans or grown to ur wedding except my naturally beauty styled hair. I plenty pity the people doing the wedding cause my beautiful hair use to sell the occasion 😂 i keep explaining how i did it until the wedding end
