Hello from Arizona. Thanks for this . I learned from your video 2 years ago how to do the heel flap and gusset in a way that I finally understood. Glad you’re back. You’re still doing that SSK in a way that It looks like sleight-of-hand😆 I have to slow down the video to see if I can duplicate it
I'm so happy to hear, it's such a wonderful hassle-free technique. For the ssk: 1st stitch front loop, and 2nd stitch back loop, wrap the yarn and pull through both. I'll make a demonstration, perfect video idea!
I was watching and couldn’t decide what was different about the way you handled the needles. I then realized that your left needle moves almost like the Shetland knitters use theirs. Will give that a try as it just seems so smooth.
I just happened upon your videos. This is the second one I've viewed, and I have to tell you, you're good! It's easy and comfortable to follow what you're doing. Your pace is good, and your explanations as you go are just right. Your camera angle and focus is spot on. The topics have been just what I needed to know, too. Thank you very much!
It's a pleasure to help, and what an awesome compliment. Thank you! I am explaining it to my mom in my head, and so I feel like I'm nagging sometimes so your comment made me laugh. With more light from the windows, I have a couple videos I'm going to film about picking up dropped ssk and k2tog stitches.
