As a tuba player I love this. I like to believe I have myself down, but after listening to this there are some things that could help me stay more consistent. I love you, would love to play tuba tank with you lol.

I think it's important to focus on the fundamentals on Tuba because they're are important and often forgotten. Here's a warmup/exercise that is good for Tuba players to do on a daily. Also when you do the exercise, make sure you make it the best tone you have. Really think about each thing you do.

Great flick! Sometimes, when somebody asks me what instrument I play, and I tell them the tuba, they laugh and make silly oompah oompah sounds. If I have a tuba handy, I give them a demo of what can be done on a tuba. They generally express amazement. Not because I'm such a "virtuoso", but if I can play a familiar melody, or if they have a little patience, and I play part of the Carnival Of Venice, they get a pretty good enlightenment of what a tuba is.

I just started playing the shoulder cannon, which is a tuba you put on the shoulders for marching. And it's much harder.

I love the beautiful sounds exercise, but the true path to making a beautiful sound is long tones and lip slurs. The beautiful sounds flow study is the application of what you learn in the more fundamental exercises like Remingtons.

I’m not sure, I never owned brass gym. I got it from a teacher many years ago.
It wasn’t until after the cmea eastern regionals concert that I realized how bad the other tuba player’s tone quality is in my class at my school
