I had that cover, but I sent it back to Amazon because it was easy to break into. Time :53 of your video. If you stick a screw driver into the back corner of the tailgate, you can push the pins in and pop the cover up and just repeat for the other side. I love the look of the cover and everything but it wasn't secure enough for me. Also look at 2:34 of your video those pins are not covered when you close the tailgate and look in the corners you can see the pin holding the cover down. You may need a flash light but take a long screw driver and push the pins back you will see what I mean.
I did get the OEM cover, which is a rebranded Solidfold 2.0. it as definitely more $$ ($900) but not 1600 and easy to install. Extang now makes a version with the cable, similar to the one you have. You have to get it direct from Extang or one of their dealers, and ai don’t know if you can get the Ridgeline-specific bracketry.
Excellent video, I was looking at the same one for my 2024. Your review was superb. Thank you. 👍
Glad you liked the video! I sure have enjoyed my cover.
Excellent review!
Thanks for watching. Glad you liked the video.

Thanks for that information. I didn’t realize it was that easy to defeat. I appreciate you sharing.
I have a 22 ridgeline RTL-E with the Extang Exceed hard cover...very similar except release is a handle you must rotate to unlock....great cover!
Thanks for the info! I hope you like your Ridgeline as much as I do mine.

Thanks for letting me know about the new Extang! And thanks for watching.
Does the trunk lid hit the side rails of the cover when fully opened?
No, but it does when you just open and do one fold. You still can get in the trunk though.
Is it hard to remove the entire cover if you have a piece of furniture or something larger to move? Thanks in advance for the comment.
The 1/3 of the cover that is nearest the cab is bolted down. You have to remove two bolts.
