@beemrj I can't say for Gen 2 have Generation 1 Ridgeline with factory tonneau cover. It was installed when purchased in 2007. But looking at these shouldn't prevent the trunk from opening fully. Unless it's something on side bed rail trac.
I have the Truxedo tonneau cover, and I cannot open the in bed trunk lid all the way, although it opens enough that I can get in and out of it with my tools

I just bought the Honda Ridgeline and the North Mountain Soft Roll-up Tonneau cover. I'll let you know how it goes after my install.
