That second girl's mom was my actual hair stylist 2 1/2 years ago. I told her exactly where I wanted it, she cut it longer, and I told her more. "Oh no that's too short." Like I swear if she could have denied to cut my hair shorter without worrying about her job she would have 😂😂🤦 She did a WONDERFUL job in the end, and I loved my cut! It just irked my soul that she tried to tell me I could not have my hair the length I wanted. I was a mom of two (3 now) at the time and already in my twenties, not some teenager who would have blamed her for messing my hair up if I didn't end up liking it as short as it was, which I think she was worried about 🤷
I had kind of a similar situation, except the stylist more or less refused to give me the pixie-type cut I wanted and insisted that actually I wanted it pretty much the way it already was (and that I'd already said I hated), and pretty much argued with me until I gave up and let her give me a trim. That was just a week or so before everything got shut down, and a few weeks later I'd had enough and cut it all off myself. >_

Hair donating is such a beautiful thing. I donate mine every 3 to 4 years. Usually 1 and half ft at a time. Sometimes 2 ft if I want a shorter cut than usual. I love that I am able to donate so much, so often. And I’m thankful that my hair grows so fast.

Brad, you should have seen the hair transformation I went thru. I had Auburn colored curly hair (just below my shoulders). Had brain surgery and ended up shaving my head. Now one side grows a LOT slower, so I have a half buzzed, half short style that is dyed bright pink! I'm definitely not your everyday grandma!

Update: I just found out that apparently my dad got his haircut at a salon. Why he ever paid for that haircut and how the stylist managed to fuck up that badly is beyond me, but there you go.
I gave myself bangs during the beginning of quarantine and for like the first week of having them my mom laughed at me every time she saw them.
My dad also cut his hair😂. It turned out bad but then my mom fixed it for him and he decided to experiment even more and now he is bald🤣.

So I did my haircut yesterday and I'm glad I asked someone for help and watched Brad's videos so it didn't end up bad. I sent the hair to a charity (because I cut like 30 cm) and they will make a wig from it and give it to a person with cancer . So I recommend doing that to everyone with quite long hair 😊

Hair donating is such a beautiful thing. I donate mine every 3 to 4 years. Usually 1 and half ft at a time. Sometimes 2 ft if I want a shorter cut than usual. I love that I am able to donate so much, so often. And I’m thankful that my hair grows so fast.

Brad, you should have seen the hair transformation I went thru. I had Auburn colored curly hair (just below my shoulders). Had brain surgery and ended up shaving my head. Now one side grows a LOT slower, so I have a half buzzed, half short style that is dyed bright pink! I'm definitely not your everyday grandma!
