    Hi logitech, a suggestion for future development, please add a combination of key strokes for smart actions, for ex, if trigger A and trigger B then etc

    The actual Logi Option+ app will not open, and there are a lot of other people mentioning the same problem.

    I have two machines, and I'd like to use the same button settings on both. How can I transfer the button settings?

    I just moved from a keyboard with G-keys, important key is toggling High Contrast. Simple right? Nope the keyboard shortcut is left Shift + left Alt + Print Screen, there is no Print Screen key on the MX Keys S so I tried using the OSK (on-screen keyboard), the shortcut shows as it should in the record window but - nope again. So then I tried a Smart Action - there's a theme here, NOPE, I can't even get it to launch the Settings app. Other keys I've changed and assigned to keyboard shortcuts work but I'm at a brick wall with High Contrast toggling.

    Hello,
    How can I transfer configured smart actions profiles to another machine?

  • @AlDunbar
    @AlDunbar 5 месяцев назад +3

    It is unfortunate that we have to insert delays to ensure each action we initiate will complete before the next one. It would be much better to have a simple way to programmatically determine the computer is ready for the next action. Something like "wait.until.done" or "wait until computer is idle"

      @Ahduciekwndnbbbsvvvghhhyyyyy Месяц назад

      Exactly. It’s such a weird oversight to require manually adding “wait-for” delays when configuring a software designed to automate your manual tasks.

    Hello, I would love for you to add the 4 types of macro that the G Hub has, it would be very useful, the modes, without repetition, toggle, repeat when pressing and sequence, for example in premiere pro I use a macro that performs the down arrow and press u, if I want to do this repeatedly I have to fill the keyboard action with smart actions and that is not enough, since the maximum actions are 50, it would be very useful to have a toggle button and be able to turn it on and off whenever I want.

    Just got the MX Keys Mechanical and was wondering if there was a way to set up smart actions to only work in certain scenarios.
    For example I would like to open my code editor with the F12 key, but if I at some point need to use the f12 key elsewhere I wouldn't want to open it again.

      Hi! Right now, Smart Actions is not able to work part-time. If you assign Smart Actions to your F12 key, it will pull up what you've assigned it to do when you press it and will not function like a normal F12 key. Sorry about that! Thank you for your feedback, this helps us to improve!

    Hi Logitech! I would like to creat an Smart Action that corresponds to pressing two keys simultaneously - e.g. shift + left mouse button. The thing is, I would like those keys to "stay pressed" for as long as I keep the trigger button pressed. Is that possible? Thanks!

    please advise. how to set the middle button work like pressing the space bar and pressing the left button at the same time? Thanks

    • @logitechcommunity
      @logitechcommunity  9 месяцев назад

      Hi! You'll want to create a custom Smart Action and choose your middle button as the trigger. Then, you'll want to add action, keystroke, start recording, press the space bar and then your left button, stop recording, and confirm. This should allow your middle button to become your left click and spacebar!

    Pressing the enter key does not work on my keyboard. For keystrokes to work do I need a logitech keyboard ? Most keys do not work, only control, cmd, option, shift. I have a keychron k2 keyboard. Also I should mention that it is on mac, latest OS version. And I just installed the logi options+ and it is with the latest version

    Hi Logitech Community. At 0:31, "Application" is grayed out and is not available for selection. This makes it possible for a mouse button to launch different Smart Actions depending upon the active app. How does one go about rendering this valuable option available?

    hi everyone. I'm using a MX3S mouse with Options + and it doesn't seem to be possible to assign a Smart action to a Gesture. Am I missing anything? It doesn't seems to be an option and it should be pretty logical and easy to allow this

    • @logitechcommunity
      @logitechcommunity  5 месяцев назад

      Hello! What exactly is the action you are trying to have happen on your MX Master 3s? You should be able to assign a custom Smart Action to any button on your MX Master 3s with keystrokes, text, applications or system operations of your choosing.

    • @jorgeditor
      @jorgeditor 5 месяцев назад

      @@logitechcommunity I want to perform a smart action that first presses the alt+k key combination and followed by that to automatically type the word color matte and then press enter, with the Logitech Master 3s mouse it is possible but that smart action can only be applied to buttons and not to gestures, each mouse button has 4 gestures, forward, back, right and left, by not being able to assign my intelligent actions to gestures, I miss out on many possibilities since what would be 4 macros in my gestures is reduced to just 1, which is the button, I would like you to verify it, the logitech options plus program does not allow you to add intelligent actions to gestures, it only allows it with buttons, making a large number of possibilities unusable

    • @jorgeditor
      @jorgeditor 5 месяцев назад

      @@logitechcommunity The logitech plus options only allow you to add keyboard shortcuts to gestures, things like ctrl+k, alt+f4, etc., just that, the program is very limited, it would be much more useful for designers, editors and programmers to have many actions smart in 1 button instead of just 1 smart action.

      On the Smart Actions page, you'll see 3 dots in a vertical line at the top right of each saved Smart Action. Click those dots and then click "remove" and your Smart Action will be deleted.

      Hello! Options+ is a great tool for customizing your Logitech Keyboards/Mice/Webcams. While you do need to create an account and login, the app will always remember your login info and you won't need to sign in every time. You are still able to use your Logitech devices as well, even if you choose not to download Options+. Hope this helps!
