How I use the "My Triumph App" on theTiger 900

This is in response to a question in the comment section of one of my video about problems using the "My Triumph App" on his Tiger.

Works well as a basic sat nav but no bells and whistles. It does recalculate if you take a wrong turn or know a quicker route yourself. Like you, I find mode 4 is the best screen to view it on. Much better than a piece of paper stuck to the tank anyway! 🤣

Yep, I first had my Cardo connected to my phone but you must connect both phone and headset to bike, like you did. Sound mutes but doesn't change volume, but I can speak to Cardo to raise and low volume turn my radio on etc. Bit of a bad rep for this app but it works fine:-)

that is really handy i wish my 2018 tiger 1200 had that. a person could get spoiled even more

I've had the bike for 8 months and I have never been able to run the app. My iPhone 12 will not connect to the app.

The triumph app is not usefull. When you connect your phone and headset, the sound (voice) quality and the quality of connection decrease. And when you do that, it is not possible to pair your headset with other headsets as an intercom should do...

I never tried the intercom with another rider while using the Triumph. I never noticed a decrease in sound quality, however I bought a Garmin 550 and use it on all the motorcycles now.

@@justdad53 actually there are more functions, as see incoming calls and make calls, change your music with the joystick button, but as i mentioned the pairing problem and poor voice is shame for such a good Bike as this.

What earpiece do you like to use?

I just use the speakers that came with my Sena 10s. I have a hard time with earpieces stuck in my ear. My ears get sore.

Ahh ok ..I was interested in the sena 10 the earbuds arnt cutting it for me either..

App inutile.metto il navigatore e mi dice sempre di chiudere la sessione precendente..ma non ci sta modo di chiudere..per impostare altro percorso devo disinstallare app e reinstallarla...devono migliorarla altrimenti è inutile

I agree it needs to be lot better. Recently I just put Garmin on for a trip.

This app is complete crap. I use my iPhone connected to my Garmin Zumo and my Sena headset, does away with the need for this.
Also, try pairing any Apple device via Bluetooth to the bike, it’s impossible!

To be fair the BMW, Honda are bout the same. Your method is probably best and the one I use 99.9% of the time.
