Looking at views, I'd say bring back the C10 build and you'll get the views back up! The C10 build is the only reason I came to the channel when Alex owned the channel.
For those asking. The rotors are not warped & still very functional.

I definitely wouldn't force the pistons back like that on a lambo I've done it on old cars but definitely not a new lambo, you could easily damage the abs pump as well as push the fluid out of the master dripping on everything, definitely not good practice, dosent take much to crack the nipple as you push the pistons back.

the ol' quick and dirty. for $3k you probably get rotors, hardware, and brake fluid flush
Good video. This is the exact same setup as on my 2002 Boxster S. Hell, it's the same as was on my 1989 944S2 track car. Nothing special about those brakes, except for the carbon rotors. Same basic Brembos. You could change out a set of pads at the track in 15 minutes. Great setup, and this repair applies to any number of similar cars.

With pads do you use? Oem or aftermarket

Be careful not to chip or crack a piston. You could leave the old pad in and the pistons will compress evenly.
I'm amazed they charge that much to change the brake pads! The way it's done is no different than a vette!

Yea if you like setting money on fire. It’s not always necessary.
In this case, it was necessary. Grooves in the rotors on a Lambo is not correctly servicing the brakes.
Why do people whine about the rotors? Why change them if they are within spec.

You are working on Lamborghini "Eh-vo" and you don't have a caliper retractor tool? The why you are prying on the pad with a screwdriver using the rotors as leverage... you could damage a $6000 carbon rotor. Then they don't even start the wheel bolts by hand, just thread em in with an impact gun? I feel like these guys used to work at Jiffy Lube.

Tax brake, it's a lot cheaper to register these type of cars in Alaska & or Montana than any other state.

Lamborghini charging $3000 for changing out pads on one of the easiest caliper designs is such a rip off, but I guess the wealthy wouldn’t change their own brakes anyways.

Here's why....? I don't see why it costs $3k. It's no different than any other brake job. Cost of parts and maybe the service for resetting the low pad warning indicator would warrant a higher cost, but the rest was like every other car on the road. I was expecting some long, drawn out process. That was a piece of cake job,

Why can they just DIY them brake jobs, it’s uneconomic to waste for just a brake job, this is my opinion and issue with exotics maintenance

These are carbon ceramic rotors they aren't machined like the normal ones

You don’t change the rotors with every pad change… you change them when they are worn, probably get 3 or 4 pad changes to every rotor change.
You machine them flat then add pads.
It’s probably easier than doing slider callipers but rich people don’t do anything themselves
