Cheers buddy, I find it super comfortable and easy to move about it. Looks great on camera too! (Sorry had to repost this as was on my personal account and not this one lol)
I started djing for fun in my bedroom in about 2001, I bought second hand citronic belt driven turntables with my saved up paper round money. I wanted pioneer cdj 1000s but they were like a pipeline dream. Later on about 2007 I bought some gemini pt2100 direct drive turntables and they were like wow, couldn't believe how much better it was than my belt driven tables. I started doing local parties, wedding birthdays etc and became a mobile dj. I started using a hercules controller around 2014 as was so convinient. My last gig was early 2019 and by that time I hadn't touched a vinyl record in about 7 years. I recently picked up my record collection and have got back into it for fun in the house. Record prices have changed a hell of a lot. I also bought myself some denon sc5000m's and an X1850 mixer, all the buttons are some what overwhelming but I'm sure I'll get my head around it. There is something so amazing about mixing on vinyl, I cannot quite explain it. Any way I am waffling, I love the mix and look forward to seeing more. I may even start putting my mixes up here.
Thank you for your lovely comment! I was lucky and started on Technics right away back in 1992, never looked back. When the digital 'revolution' happened in the 00's I kind of didn't want to part with my vinyl, then the clubs died down anyway, so was a good as a time as any to take a break. Now I am glad I kept it all as bringing all this back out of storage rather than selling off like many of my friends did, there's many a gem there I'd never have gotten back at today's prices (or remembered 🤣)!
So all you budding DJs with your computer’s memory sticks cds this is how it was done lugging a case full of records to a venue and spinning that vinyl not jumping on the spot and turning a knob had a good few years at samsara and pendragon best times
@@colinspong9831 hehe they weigh a ton that’s for sure! We always used to take at least twice as much and play on the fly! Samsara, Pendragon, Pickle and many many more were such awesome nights 💜
@@Juno_Leigh yes they certainly were was just looking at some old flyers 96 to 99 forgot they went to bagleys did you play in France out there festival pendragon had tent there carry on regardless another good one with pendragon went to boom Portugal a few times to hot and sounded like same DJ was playing for days for me nothing touches those samsara / pendragon events for energy and good music
@@colinspong9831 yes I played Bagleys for Samsara and Out There Festival in France and COR up the mountain in Wales several times. They were epic times! Yes I also felt loads of our music started to sound to similar and I fell out of love with it, think psy and hard house took over and tbh it killed the passion in me, producers stopped making awesome trance and it all went generic. I am so glad I kept all my vinyl though 💜
Looking cool rocking that Natureofflowers T-Shirt! Awesome tunes 🎉🤩🌟🤩🙌🌀🙌😇
@@zennorjuno9801 really suits your vibe! Thank you 🙏
