Dominik Doherty I’m not sure that’s true. There are still plenty of shows that contain controversial humour, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia being one such example. Sure, there will always be people that complain but if they want to take offence at jokes who cares...

Indeed, if we go back to the Romans, they made clear distinction between Britannia and Hibernia. But I'd be very interested to know what the Irish call the archipelago (including the Channel Islands, all those little bits like Man, and Wight, and the Scottish fleabites that reach up into the arctic circle). Because otherwise, isn't that a bit like, say, Belgium saying it's not going to be a part of Europe because Germany says it is?

'Hell' is my favourite episode. I loved that when they did the retrospective anniversary programme, decades on, about the making of Father Ted, they visited all the location filming areas. Including the campsite where much of 'Hell' was filmed. They asked some of the campers there if they knew what the place was famous for, and even the kids knew! I'm looking forward to visiting Ireland, and seeing all these places - they get Father Ted fans visiting from all over the world...The Craggy Island Parochial House is even open for teas, sadly without Mrs Doyle.
