We only have two wheelie bins a black one for general waste only ( no separate black sacks) a brown bin for garden waste for which you pay a yearly fee. Collected on alternative weeks. We have a smaller red bin for cardboard and paper, same size green bin for cans and plastic, also collected on alternative weeks, they don’t take glass bottles etc those you dispose of at bins at local supermarkets or at the tip. We also have a small food waste caddy for under kitchen sink which houses a disposable bag, those are put into a larger caddy for collection .Any other items you take to tip, appointment only unless blue badge holder. I have been de labelling cardboard this morning ready for use in compost bins.
I’ve just sorted a lot of old lettuce, basil and cress seeds and decided to sow them into a plastic container which I will keep indoors, hopefully get some micro greens if they germinate.
We are in mid summer here in NZ so its camping, beach walks friends and family. My son is over from Aussie too, so yes, enjoying life. My strawberry plants are doing really well. I grew them from laterals last may.
@@DaisyDebs in this part of Essex they don’t collect glass or glass bottles, you take them to containers located at supermarkets. Cans and cardboard cannot be mixed separate containers.
We have a large bin for general waste, a slightly smaller bin for garden waste, same size bin for cardboard and plastic. A tote for tins and bottles and another tote for newspaper and magazines. North Lincolnshire
In our area we only have a small black container for paper and cardboard. And they do not like it if the materials are wet. Thetvtell us it goes to landfill apparently if it gets wet as it cannot be recycled. We can do wrapping paper but only if it isnt foiled or metallic. Or doesnt tear up easily which indicates it has a plastic coating. That is the case everywhere i think. Most recycling centres cannot deal with bonded paper and card. That needs specialist places.
I have been doing the cardboard this morning also in January I will be doing my hot chillis and in march my tomatoes as well as outside tomatoes cocktail crush
Happy New Year, Tony. Stay safe, healthy & happy 🎉🎉🎉 😊
It takes a few minuets Tony but ripping the plain cardboard up & adding it to the compost heap it soon rots down - makes lovely compost ;0)
Why not take it to the allotment for the compost.
But then he would not have material for making a video.
You have to like washing up to have a juicer I’ve learnt!!
Job well done Tony, Happy New Year to you and the family ❤️
All the best to you and yours Tony, hope that next year is better than the last.
All the best for the new year Tony 😊
Happy new yearTony &family thanks for the videos

You have loads of Bins lol
I'm just astonished by how many bins you have. In Canada, you get a garbage bin, a compost bin and a recycling bin. Happy New Year!
Down here in Lancashire, we cant put cardboard in with cans and glass.
Same in Cornwall !

We don't have to put cardboard in the recycling bin, just put it out with the recycling bin and they'll take it. 😀
